Their clearance section had some great deals and plenty of styles to browse. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant shopping experience.

Not quite sure if it is that I feel like I finally got my shot on Wheel of Fortune or if it is because you never know what deal you will land on. Hell, perhaps it is the guy who narrates the whole spinning process atop a stage with a wireless mic. (Actually, now that I've taken the time to sit down and write it all out, it's definitely the narrator guy. Hands down.) Okay, prize wheel aside, Shoe Carnival has a decent selection of shoes. They offer heels, sandals, flip flops, boots and sneakers for women- and have an equally large men's selection. You can also get really good deals here even if the prize wheel man isn't working that day. I've gone in here quite a few times only to be heart broken when I saw his podium empty. *single tear* The staff has always been helpful and friendly. As an added bonus, shoe carnival carries sizes up to a 12 for gals. Which is nice when you have big feet. It is such a chore finding shoes to fit these mammoths.

They were telling everyone who entered through the one unlocked door that they were trying to close. I'm sure they locked it behind us when we left 21 minutes before closing. So rude! Never again!
