After discussing my issues with them and trying on a couple pairs of shoes, it turns out my previous shoes were too small. Strange thing considering my age, but at some point my feel got bigger by a couple sizes. Problem solved. Once we figured out the size issue, we discussed my running/walking and then the real fun began! I tried on 5 or 6 pairs of shoes and was able to find some that feel great. I have a number of miles on them and am very satisfied. They even gave me a free shirt to go with my new shoes. Knowing what I know now, I could buy my next pair of shoes online but I will buy from Varsity again to support the great service I have gotten.

That has not changed., I have exchanged these shoes a minimum of three times each time I have had the same difficulty with the shoe. Lack of support lack of fit. I don't believe it's the staff I honestly believe it's the manufacturers. In the future I will need to find a different shoe and since I have been through all that they carry in my size I will need to find a different source. First come first served. size 13/2w I was told after my 3rd return that they would not/could not exchange again. Not sure why because I was not given an explanation. If the shoes don't fit they don't fit.

    I was impressed with the young man who helped me when I arrived for my appointment. He had me do a…read morequestionnaire, took an imprint of my feet while standing and had me try on some tennis shoes for the walking test. He went to the back and got insoles for me to try. The Good Feet system uses three different insoles, and he had me try all of them in the tennis shoe, by walking in the store. He was very communicative with me to assess the insoles. He gave me instructions as to how to use the insole system, when and how long to use each one. I was excited because my feet actually felt a whole lot better while using the insoles in the tennis shoes while walking in the store. My heel pain just about disappeared. Then, the disappointment. I was all ready to do this and buy their insole system. I had no idea what the price would be but I was thinking it would be about $500. I was way off! He did not actually say the price. He just handed me a piece of paper that showed the prices. It would have been $1800! Ouch. I was shocked. I did not buy the insoles. I give a 5 for the service and product and a 1 for the price.

    I have shopped at TJ maxx for years and this used to be my favorite location, however on my visit…read moreyesterday service was terrible! I found an item I liked that said it was part of a set but one of the pieces was missing, I proceeded to the register to pay and asked if the price would be different since half of it was missing and a nearby worker assured me it would. however the cashier I got refused to answer me when I asked her about it several times and did not adjust the price. she was very unfriendly and merely stared at me until I payed and left.... later on I went to Slidell location and was double charged for a shirt I bought for my husband that I didn't notice until I got home. I called the store to verify if I needed to come all the way back to Slidell to correct this and was told I could go to any location as long as I brought the items and reciept with me. After going to mandeville location earlier and having issues I didn't really want to return there but it's so much closer to my home so I did anyways. upon entry I asked a woman that was by the door if i was in the right place for this and she very gruffly said ' there's one line for everything' after ignoring my attempts to get her attention for several minutes. after waiting in line and getting to the register I noticed she had been watching me with a sour expression on her face the whole time I was in line. and once I got the the register she was glaring at me and rushed over to stop the employees from helping me with my refund. Having realized she was the manager I asked why she stopped them and was told they need to see the digital reciept ... I had already given the paper one and the items and asked why and was told that she needed to see the cameras before issuing the refund. she was incredibly rude about this whole process and completely unprofessional! she was scolding employees in font of customers and you could tell they were so uncomfortable!! they were just doing their job! it's so sad to see workers treated so badly and that the company doesn't care enough to get management that cares about the customers at all! I will also note that the woman in front of me in line had a similar issue and this terrible woman didn't even glance her way! I was merely singled out because I asked her if i was in the right line! will not be returning!!
