Because of the way this employee handled the situation I will NEVER buy another pair of New Balance shoes very unfortunate but customer service is everything in business and when the business makes a mistake it's their job to make it right and that's not what happened in this case. Hopefully Corporate looks into this store and their lack of training and poor customer service, unless they don't care.

The store has come along way. Honestly, it used to be a bit of a disaster there. However, things are changing and it shows. The store is cleaner and more organized. Staff has become more friendly as of late. Timing is everything when it comes to scoring things you want. Wait a few months after the launch of sweet collections and they'll make their way to the outlet store for excellent pricing. But be fast because they go super fast. If you dig a little you can find really awesome Vans that are super unique. A quick tip, be nice to the staff it goes a long way. Leave your crappy/privileged attitude at the door. Working the outlets (especially in Orlando) is a one hell of a stressful environment.

FALSE ADVERTISING and POOR SERVICE continue to be an issue at the JCPenney in Davenport, FL…read more As a personal shopper working with multiple clients at a time, it's extremely frustrating to spend time selecting styles, colors, and sizes, only to find at checkout that the posted pricing is incorrect. This has happened repeatedly, which is why I've reduced how often I shop here. Just yesterday, I saw a sign advertising $9.99 and "buy one, get one." Because of past issues, I took a photo of the sign before going to the register. As expected, the shirts did not ring up as advertised. When I showed the photo, I was told the sign did not mean buy one, get one free, but rather buy one and get something from another department. However, when I asked what item was included from another department, I was told there was nothing. and that the "white sign" did not say buy one get one (see photo included). What's most concerning is that instead of taking responsibility for incorrect signage, the explanation shifted to blaming customers -- suggesting that shoppers sometimes change the signs, which I found hard to believe given the way the sign was positioned and displayed. It would require insider knowledge to flip it the way it was shown to me. That response feels dismissive and avoids accountability for what appears to be ongoing internal issues. Consistently incorrect signage, combined with defensive or dismissive responses when customers raise legitimate concerns, feels disrespectful of shoppers' time and patronage to the store. Sadly, I'm not the only one that encounters these problems as you can see from other reviewers. Clear pricing and professional customer service should be standard expectations.

When I got there, the manager let me know that unfortunately the corporate customer service number is the same for store locations as it is for customers. The manager absolutely did not have to do that, but she chose to go above and beyond to help me out. I completely forgot to get her name, but I know she has purple-ish red kind of hair. Loft quickly became one of my favorite clothing stores after I discovered it a couple years back…read more They always have such a fun array of colorful, cute and comfortable clothes that you can easily dress up. They also cater more to a curvy body type instead of a stick person, so it's much more realistic and helps make a shopper feel more normal, haha. Now, the prices here are definitely lofty (punny and meaning not ideal). On a normal I'm most likely not buying clothes I like, but I try to time my visits when sales are going on. Loft can really make up for their higher prices with having awesome sales. In example, I visited a few weeks ago when they had a 40% off your entire purchase deal- how can you argue that steal! I've always had good experiences at this location in Lakeland as well- the workers are super sweet and helpful without hovering. If you can't find quite the right size, they'll also happily order you the correct fit online that you can pick up in the store later or have shipped straight to you! Come at the right time and you can find a whole loft more than you bargained for! ;)
