    SUV with a Thule revert 6 bike rack

    I called Rack and Road in the morning to inquire about a six-bike rack -- Thule revert 6. They informed me that they had one available in stock. I requested a quote via text, and they promptly sent it to me. A few hours later, I informed them that I would come to have the rack installed. They began preparing the rack within half an hour. Everything was installed smoothly and efficiently. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their work.

    Just bought a new Subaru Crosstrek and needed to get a trailer hitch. Went to Rack n Road and they did an amazing job. Great Staff, great products and awesome service from everyone that works there from the owner on down. I will be back and highly recommend this place.

    I'm a repeat customer with Rack N Road. There was no question where I wanted to go! I had my sons car fixed by them and the job was excellent. The service is friendly and reliable. This time I brought my car in to get a 2" tow hitch and bike rack installed. I went with the Kuat. Love the design and ease of use. One day I'll get a tow hitch installed on my other car too. Rack N Road is the place to go.

    Our experience with RackNRoad was a mixed one. Can be something between 2-3 stars. While the crews at the store were friendly and professional, several issues left us dissatisfied. Firstly, I would advise anyone looking to install a rack on their car without a rail track to DO SOME RESEARCH beforehand. We came to RackNRoad without any prior knowledge, assuming that they were the experts in rack solutions. However, we later discovered that our car could have installed the factory mount track from the dealer in the preset rail place, which would have saved us from drilling 10+ holes in the roof of our car. When we arrived at the store, we talked to a staff member and left our car for installation. We paid over $2300 for the rack and cargo box, excited to use them on our upcoming road trip. However, upon returning in the afternoon to pick up our car, we noticed that the rail was installed on top of our car roof by drilling over 10 holes. We had assumed that the rail would be installed in the preset rail place. The staff informed us that the rail place for our car was not made for putting rail tracks, there were no hooks there, and installing a permanent rail was the best way for us. Our attention then diverted as we found that the tailgate could not be opened, it closed halfway after being opened. The staff at RackNRoad told us that this issue had started before the installation, and they had evidence in the form of a video. They advised us to go to the dealer, as this issue should be part of a recall. We went to the dealer that same evening, as we were concerned about the safety of our children (the tailgate closes crazily). The day after, the dealer, at first, informed us that the issue would be covered by warranty, as it was a motor issue. However, when they removed the motor, they discovered a big hole caused by the rail installation, which meant that the issue was not covered by warranty. We returned to RackNRoad and spoke to the owner, Chris, who initially insisted that the error had occurred before the installation. However, when the dealer informed him that they had seen the hole in the motor, he agreed to pay for the repair. We very much appreciated it. The tailgate issue eventually be fixed by the dealer, yet we were left with several holes on our car roof, which we had paid over $2300 to create. We later discovered that the rail place of our car could have hooked factory rail tracks at fixed points, which would have been the best solution for our car and could have held 100% weight capacity. We returned to RackNRoad to send them the replaced motor, as Chris said he wanted to educate his staff to avoid such issues in the future. Although the staff at RackNRoad were friendly and professional, we felt that they did not handle our installation correctly. The consequences of their actions meant that we were left with 10+ holes in our relatively new car roof (2022 model, needing over $8000 to repair, quote from dealer), they had to pay for the motor repair fee ($1000+) and we had to accept a permanent rail that was not our preferred solution. None of us wanted. One more thing, when we went to buy the system, I asked them if they had any discount, and they said no. Then when I researched after everything happened, I found there was a 10% discount link on yelp. You only need to check-in in at that place. Then at the time we returned the replaced motor to the shop, I mentioned this 10% discount thing, and they gave me the discount, so I eventually 'saved' some money on my order. Thanks. In conclusion, while RackNRoad is a professional and responsible store, we felt that they could have done better in our installation. We would recommend that they fully educate customers before drilling any holes in their cars. We probably will go back for some other racks, but with more self-research first. Last, can somebody tell me what we can do with the holes in the top of our car? We are worried about water leakage on rainy days and the weight capacity of our roof.

    I had bought the rack back in 2021. Spoke to Ana 20 min before closing on Sunday, Father's Day. She said if I can make it before closing time, she will able to help me. Maria helped me and was nice & courteous. Highly recommend this place.

    I got my Thule RTT, Decked storage system and Major Shady awning from this store. For the most part I dealt with Chris and he is amazing. After one year everything is holding up fine and no complaints. Highly recommend this store.

    If you are trolling the internet researching for a hitch and bike rack, or anything car rack related... stop! These guys at Rack N Road knows their stuff and deliver primo service. I was able to deduce what hitch, bike rack, and installation in and out in a few hours. They are very knowledgeable and won't up-sale you on what you don't need. They also have many brands to choose from and knows all the models and what manufactures are good for. I would highly recommend them even before you spend countless researching. Just cut to the chase... I purchase the saris Module system for our e-bikes and hitch.

He even had me running down the aisles in various pairs to ensure the fit and feel were perfect. It was easily the best customer service I've ever had, better than some shoe speciality shop! To top it off, I found out about their "Love Your Purchase" return policy. It's a total game-changer--knowing I can actually test these out and bring them back if they don't work for my feet gives me so much peace of mind. I scheduled online to complete the ppwk to pick up a firearm for Wednesday, April 29th @ 9:00am. I know that getting there early on the weekdays is the key to not having to wait in line. I got there about 9:02am. I told the gentleman, a middle-aged Latino man with a gray beard and mustache, at the gun counter that I had a 9:00am appointment. He told me that he wasn't ready and was still setting up and to join the queue by registering at the kiosk. I registered at the kiosk and got a text from Bass Pro at 9:35am that my 9:00am appointment had been cancelled. Now, I was number five in the queue and it was now 10:45am. I had to leave for another appointment. I was not a happy camper. Driving to my next appointment, I called for a manager. I told Marcos the situation and he would get back to me to investigate what transpired. He called and left a message. His message relayed that I didn't get there until 9:16am and that there were several customers ahead of me so my appointment could not be accepted. That was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard; someone was trying to cover their @ss or @asses. This will be my last purchase at Bass Pro stores and I will shop from an independent store where they take accountability and take care of their customers.

I drove to the Westfield location Thursday evening around 7 PM, through heavy traffic, specifically to purchase this jacket as a gift for a family member only to be told upon arrival that the jacket was not on sale. The associate who assisted me, Cindy, was dismissive and unhelpful including visible eye-rolling, which made an already frustrating situation worse. When I asked for clarification, the manager supported the associate's position rather than addressing the inconsistency. I was even told that a jacket I had just purchased on sale earlier that same day at the Stanford location was somehow not on sale at Westfield despite being the exact same item. At that point, I felt pressured and exhausted, so I purchased the jacket at full price just to be done with the situation. The following day, I went back to the Stanford North Face and explained what had happened. Within minutes they acknowledged the error, refunded half of what I paid. Their professionalism and customer service were outstanding and a complete contrast to my experience at Westfield. Why couldn't it be like this at Westfield?! Because of this, I highly recommend shopping at the Stanford North Face location. They were respectful, efficient, and transparent and they honored sale pricing that Westfield was selling at full price.

    Stopped in for the first time earlier today on the recommendation of another well-respected local…read moregun shop for where to sell used firearms. They do cash trade-ins day-of-sale unlike most gun shops in the area that only do consignment. They take the time to properly appraise what you bring in, make sure it's legal for sale in California and make sure all the required paperwork is filled out properly. Their prices are generally fair market value from what I've seen considering it's a cash-day-of trade-in. You'll be waiting for maybe an hour at most here to get paid for selling your stuff instead of the weeks that you would with a consignment sale or what passes for a private-party transaction in CA. Could you potentially get more selling privately or putting your stuff on consignment and waiting for it to move instead? Maybe, but their way of doing things avoids a lot of the multiple trips and waiting time that comes with doing either of those other two options instead in California. I would definitely recommend coming here if you have guns you need to sell urgently or if you would just rather not deal with selling on consignment or arranging a private-party sale yourself.
