I noticed that many of these reviews were for their old location in Chicago and not the new place…read morein Kenosha. The building is quite striking from the outside. Unfortunately for me that was the best part of the experience. We happened to arrive on memorial day weekend when they were having a special ceremony. Despite looking at their website it was unclear that their hours were different. They didn't open at 10am but at noon when their special program began. We killed 40 mins thinking that at noon we could get into the building but no we had to wait through the fortunately short ceremony (which was hard to hear due to a poor PA setup). It was free on this day so not sure the regular price but thank goodness because this place was not what we expected. It wasn't really war memorabilia but some exhibits telling stories of some soldiers. Don't get me wrong the exhibit about the chaplain and his collection of glass from damaged European churches during WWII was well done but that was most of what was on display. We spent maybe 30 minutes or so here. I do support the founder Jennifer Pritzker in her stance that she isn't going to let any government officials dictate the stories being told. A benefit of this being a privately funded museum. Nonetheless very underwhelming.

Very disappointing. The Kenosha location is very nice, but there's basically nothing to see inside…read more There is a lot of empty wasted space in the building. Definitely would not go again.

Parent perspective: My kid was accepted to many schools. Carthage offered him a full tuition…read morescholarship. TBH I liked the school but was hoping he would choose another one. He chose Carthage. He is thriving. Loves the location, and most importantly the professors (math /analytics major). He plays a sport and has made some excellent friends. As a parent, I will share the positives were the admissions office, the athletics (coaches), small-mid size school (2900) but with great school spirit. If I had to mention a "negative" it would be the dorms. Though, they do keep them clean, they definitely need upgrading. With the choosing of any college, it's important to have your kid fully engaged. My kid chose the best fit for him. EVERY school will have something you may not like, but it's a matter of what checks the most boxes.

What could improve? Quite literally everything. My son Trevor is a freshman at the college, on our…read morenightly call all I hear is complaining, no positivity. I am appalled that they do not clean the bathrooms, provide suitable living arrangements for students and the worst of all serve food that has made my son sick more times than I count. With the price of tuition and housing you really think they would do better. Don't even get me started on President John Swallows involvement on campus, because there's nothing I could say. Tuition prices are rising while student satisfaction is declining. Sorry excuse for a college. Hope this helps anyone's college search!

I am extremely disappointed. I came here today 1/2/22 and I ordered a drink and a pretzel. I got my…read moredrink about 10 minutes after ordering and then I was waiting for my pretzel. I never got the receipt and I had been waiting for a while so I decided to take action and go up and ask. To my confused and shocked self, the girl (long black/dark brown hair with big eyes) told me that I never ordered a pretzel. So your telling me I paid 8.50 for a tall drink? If that's the case then this is way overpriced for not even a good drink. I got scammed and I felt ashamed and embarrassed in public and I will never be coming back.

This Barnes and Noble branch is much, much better than the branch in Greenfield. Also the cafe is…read morean actual Starbucks. Slight difference than the B&N Starbucks-like cafe, but a difference none the less. Sometimes, they have tables in the back w clearance items, including children's toys, board games, books, journals, writing utensils, puzzles, edible gifts, candles, books, ergonomic lap desks, etc. something for everybody, really. Unfortunately, this location lacks outlets, too. Also, there isn't any comfy seating and tables through out the store. (The cafe has a few tables and hard chairs.) I suppose it is a reflection of the B&N model change- they want you to peruse, buy, and leave wanting more. In which case, head to the library to simultaneously read and charge your kindle/ smartphone/ iPad/etc.

The ability to leave a review for this prison on Google is disabled for a reason!…read more I would only give them ONE star for the cleanliness, which the inmates are responsible for. So they don't even deserve that! Firstly, As a civilian who visits a loved one who is incarcerated at this institution- I would like to give credit to the sensible correctional officers that are pleasant to engage with.. And they are very FEW and FAR in between!! The other 95% of the COs treat the family members like shit and I can only imagine how they treat the inmates! They have the most vile attitudes and slick mouths, screaming "I abuse my authority". The environment is not helpful for a person who is trying to change their lives for the better and it's not the inmates making it hard for each other (most of the time), it's actually the correctional officers and that is twisted! The dirty cops you see in the movies, they actually exist and work there at RCI. When you call on the phone, you get attitude from the departments that have COs answering AND anyone outside of that department are not answering the phone and they don't return phone calls! No one takes initiative to help resolve an issue, they give you the runaround with their incompetence. If you're an inmate and you want to enroll in a school program, GOOD LUCK getting in contact with the director of education! If you're a loved one looking to speak with their counselor, GOOD LUCK with that too. They never answer and they never call back! I do not recommend ANY inmates to transfer to RCI if they have a choice. Highly recommended that the warden clean house and rehire
