I also had somethings I bought and never wore and wanted to know if I should get rid of them or how I could use them. Working with Mallory was such a pleasure. She confirmed the ones I didn't like and the ones I wasn't sure if they were my style or if they were good for my body type. She made it really easy to move through the process. While we were going through my closet I discovered some great pieces that I forgot about and she also helped me combine things I never thought about, so even though we got rid of a whole garbage bag full of clothes, I feel that I have even more outfits now than I was wearing before. The closet sweep actually saved me money shopping since I now have more outfits than I thought and Mallory made it really clear and simple with what I could buy to fill in the gaps. In the past I would buy things I thought I liked in the store that actually weren't flattering and would end up giving them away. I even said during the process, "Everyone should do this!". I also love the virtual closet Mallory created for me with and the Pinterest Mood Board - I loved all of her ideas for me on the board and even bought a $39 dress online right away! I told Mallory that I didn't like shopping before we worked together and now that I know what to look for, I'm actually excited about shopping now! I'm looking forward to working with Mallory more when I need a personal shopper! She makes it easy and affordable to feel my best. - Elicia Miller https://eliciamiller.com

I've spent quite a few weekends there taking everything from sewing and flower arranging to candle making, and every single class has been a joyful experience. There's something refreshing about stepping away from a screen and actually making something with your hands. The boutique side is just as great--it's packed with unique, high-quality gifts from local makers, so you're always finding something one-of-a-kind. Plus, they give you 20% off any purchases on the day you take a class, which makes it nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. If you're looking for a new hobby or just want to support the local creative scene, you really can't beat the vibe here.

It's easy to get lost in here because there is so much amazing stuff to choose from. Jewelry, clothing, food, crafts, soaps, and much more. I found things that I didn't even know I needed in here and I can't wait to go back. I saw some cologne and intention candles that I want. The price of their items range from $4 - $100 for certain things, but from what I saw the value outweighed the price repeatedly. The best part, again, is supporting so many other businesses in one place. Kudos to the owners for having such an awesome vision. There's lots of parking here because they are located off Caroline in that shopping area. Parking is free too. The shop is super organized and Mari greets everyone who comes in. You will leave with something.

They responded to all of our questions in a timely fashion and were overall wonderful to work with. The cabinet was delivered not long after we ordered it. I wasn't present for the delivery but my husband said it was a guy and his son. Delivery was expensive but that's what you get when you live in Maryland and the item is coming from Georgia. Even still, it cost us less than newer cabinets that aren't as well made. Thank you, City Issue!

However, I'm also a Very Lazy Shopper who just wants to get what she needs and be done with it. I've never been the type to hunt for items so vintage stores have never really been my jam. I'd had my eye on a West Elm sideboard but the buying process turned out to be a disaster. But I digress. Let's talk about City Issue. I gave up on WE and started poking around the online inventory of Atlanta's many vintage shops. I'd tabbed a few items and found myself coming back to a walnut sideboard from City Issue. It was a little out of my comfort zone style-wise but it was exactly what I was looking for utility-wise and price-wise. I used the "Inquire" button on their website to request a hold on it to see it in person. Someone got back to me within just a few minutes! The in-person experience was fantastic. The inventory is gorgeous and it made me all the more upset with myself for defaulting to giant corporate furniture stores. I unfortunately did not get the name of the employee who helped me but gosh, did she help! She had me bring my car around while she got the piece on wheels, helped us load it into the car, and even helped out with the most effective way to tie it down and keep the trunk from damaging it. This piece was over a foot longer than the WE sideboard, which was less expensive but adding in shipping, totaled only $3 cheaper than what I ended up with. I was exceedingly pleased with the entire experience and would absolutely come back.

During a recent visit to Atlanta, my friend and I wanted to kill some time, so we went here to hang out. We walked around, checked out the shops, and enjoyed some gelato from Honeysuckle Gelato. And full of every sort of eating/drinking/shopping experience you & your group could want. Even with its appeal to tourists, I'd have to imagine that locals* regularly patronize the building (and shops within). I came here with a huge group on an overcast Wednesday in mid-spring. Lots of people. Lots of agendas. Everyone was sated. Why? Because PCM is home to a bevy of experiences. I really enjoy repurposed old warehouses. From the sweeping ceilings to the ironwork to the beautiful old wood, they're reminders of why some things are meant to be kept and protected -- even when the old shell reveals something new inside. I detached from my group and went feral. I was here to eat but I wanted to explore. I did some window shopping and people watching. I attempted to access the roof but I needed a ticket or some such nonsense (Atlanta still has to Atlanta). But if you have the time and patience to get a ticket, you should check it out. I eventually settled on dinner and dessertS (reviews to come) and enjoyed every bite. There's a reason why PCM is a part of external-facing media when it comes to Atlanta. And I'm pleased to report that it acquits itself nicely. Even if it's out of your way and/or not in your plan to visit, make the time to do so. I think you'll be happy that you did. *I do understand the annoyance at parking issues being a deterrent to visiting. That struggle is real and universal.
