Right out of the gate let's make one thing very clear...you've heard of a dive when referencing a bar or restaurant, well this is the convenience store equivalent of that. More stuff than what you'll find at a normal convenience store, but nothing like what you'll find at like a Walmart or places like that. They do have some staples, I'm guessing because they are in the middle of nowhere and then a few miles beyond ... so they make it so the folks that are in the area don't have to drive forever (plus a little more) to get to a n actual grocery store. Now, where they excel is in oddities. The one that stood out to me - Peach Mango Angry Orchard .... until seeing it here, didn't even know it existed. Just one example of the different stuff you'll find here. Oh, did I say they also have a full service food area - kind of like a publix - fried chicken and all the fixin's. If you're in the area stop off and check these guys our, well worth the visit.

This particular location is in a shopping plaza and I cannot see parking being an issue. The location has an overall pleasant ambiance that makes shopping all the more enjoyable. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.

From start to finish, he went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I had a great shopping experience. Kyle helped us put together a balloon bundle with patience and care. When we accidentally popped one in the parking lot, he not only noticed but came outside to replace it--even asking what color it was to make sure everything was just right. His kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. We also saw Kyle assisting another employee, who seemed to be in training, and he treated them with the same friendliness and helpfulness that he showed us. It's clear that he is a team player and a natural leader. Kyle is a true asset to Publix. If I had it my way, he'd get a raise because employees like him make a business thrive. This gas station and convenience store is situated along a somewhat barren (of similar stores)…read morestretch of highway. I had been on the road for a couple of hours on my way to a rental cabin at Lake Martin and popped in for some road snacks and a Coke Zero. What I found was a surprisingly great selection of beer and wine, snacks, and a very nice employee...and a helpfully talkative customer. I grabbed a couple of six packs, a couple of bottles of wine, some beef sticks and tater chips, then loaded up and hit the road. If you are in the area and need provisions, I think that you'll either find what you need here or find a suitable substitute. Huge parking lot and a metric butt-load of gas pumps.

I stopped here only once, but was impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, the friendliness of the clerk, the low gas price and the variety of drinks offered. I always give a convenience store a high mark when they have a large selection of energy drinks and waters that are hard to find (Perrier, Figi, Voss Springtime and Aqualibrium). These artesian mineral waters are better for us all than all these "purified" waters we find like Dasani and generic off-bands. Cigarettes were also under cost here at less than $4 a pack for both David and my different brands.
