Great car wash if you do full service. They take a while to dry and clean the interior but it's worth the wait. When I just do express, they don't dry the outside so I just park across the street and dry it myself but what do expect for only $5. read more

Stay with the $5 exterior wash (5 stars for value). To spend $20-26 for an interior upgrade is a waste of $$$. The salt stains on my floor mats were not even washed and the vacuum work left enough behind. I tipped the 3 guys only because good fortune should be shared. Waste of money & time. Spend $5, drive thru and get away...Hippie Bob read more

I come here usually for the $12 express exterior car wash. It's quick even if there is a line of cars. It's not a touch less car wash which I like. It gets my car all shiny again. They also do a full service where they clean inside and out. That also doesn't take too long but it is definitely pricier and I don't think worth it except maybe once or twice a year. read more

I love getting my cars washed here! (Larger truck, and SUV) They always do a great job, consistently, and service is always top notch. Price point is great too read more

I am here often with our three vehicles and they do a great job. The inside area, rest rooms, and floors are spotless. The outside lot and free vacuum equipment are meticulously maintained. Management/owner, more often than not on premises, seems to me to demand high standards along with attention to detail.......translates into a clean car inside and out. Maybe the staff is not as warm and fuzzy as they could be, but they are efficient and good at what they are supposed to be doing, cleaning your vehicle. read more

Raceway - Granddaughter feeding lamb at Church - Car Wash Near Me - Fox Lake, Illinois

Had my moms car detailed inside and out. My mom is struggling a bit physically, so needless to say, the inside of the car had never been really cleaned in the 2 years she owned the car. I didn't have much hope but this place honestly made the car look brand new. Also, whatever they used on the seats, doors and dash wasn't oily like some of the places use. They got the car in and out during the time promised and the service was done with a smile. read more

Quick and easy purchase using the Pay Here machines. Friendly and helpful team available inside the building, before you go into the carwash and when you get out of the car wash. Excellent full-service detail inside and outside. read more

The hours online and on their door are wrong, or they closed early without warning today. The only reason I left the house this evening was to get a full service wash and this is the only place nearby I know that does it. That is I wanted everything done whatever the most expensive wash they have is what I was going to purchase short of a full detail. I drove 20 minutes to get here only to find the door shut and the lights off, disappointed as now I will have to go to papo's and get a basic wash to tide me over until Village reopens and I have time to make another 40 minute round trip read more

I've been coming to this car was for years and they do a phenomenal job every time! They are more affordable than others in the area for better quality work. They also have various packages you can purchase. I highly recommend them! read more

I would love to come here to wash my car. I am very busy with work and often do not have time to care for my car. $ 26 for full sevice. Great, always clean read more

i tried this place out a couple times both times not impressed. first time left lots of water stains and quit a bit of water to wipe off due to dryers not doing there job. then the second time i came prepared with rags but only to find soap still on the car, that to me is really unacceptable doesn't really get my mustang clean and DRY as another competitor nearby. after seeing the soap on the car i will not be back read more

Our front license plate was ripped off the car during the wash process. When we called to make sure it was there we were told "well we need the number to make sure we have it because we have several" Seriously? Several plates? When we came in to pick it up the owner was extremely rude instead of being apologetic for the damage. Wash your car elsewhere. read more

Got me in quickly and were able to get all the dog slobber and dog hair out of my car! It's nice having a place this close to home that respects your car! They will try their hardest to give you the best experience possible read more

Best car wash in fox lake! Come here regularly and wouldn't ever go anywhere else! Always get a full service and it's worth every penny! They spend a solid 20 minutes on your car the wash, smells great and looks like new! Highly recommend! read more

Today was my first time visiting Village car wash. The employees were very friendly and my car looked and smelled great! I usually go to another local wash and always feel a bit disappointed after spending the money and drive away knowing I will go home and have to wipe down the interior and windows again. Thank you for a great experience and hope to be back soon. read more

This is my favorite car wash around. Extremely nice employees & they do an amazing job. Got all the dog hair off everything. Smells and looks great every time. read more

Went here for the first time today. I had a gift card and wasn't sure how the process worked. The one employee (female) was very kind and directed me where to go. They did a great job and I was impressed with the amount of dog hair they were able to get out of my car. Will definitely be back. read more

This place is a joke. Poorly staffed and almost impossible to get info from anyone. Used to take my car here years ago and it was great. Now it is not. Recently took my wife's *BRAND NEW* (black) car here for a wash. I opted for the higher level wash and the wash was great! The fact that they used the same towels to dry the wheels as the paint, was not. That's right, no change between doing the wheels and painted surfaces of the car. Needless to say, I've had to take her car to a professional detailing business to have all the SWIRL MARKS & SCRATCHES buffed out. $250 later.. I'll continue taking all my vehicles elsewhere. Beyond disappointed and very frustrated. The only reason you'll see a line at this place is because they sell themselves as the "$5 carwash" place. They can keep their $5, not with my time or money going back. read more

First and last time I will have my truck washed here. First of all, they didn't push my mirrors in and my driver side mirror was scratched going through the car wash. This happened after I watched the truck in front of me get their mirrors pushed in. Worst of all was the customer service. Peter was very rude, obnoxious, and condescending. He talks to customers like they're idiots; staring and shaking his head at them, demanding actions from the customers. The wash and cleaning job was mediocre at best as well. Peter should revisit what customer service means, especially in the aspect of common courtesy and respect. read more

Great work. Great prices. Fast Eddie's can't compete with these guys. I go every month. Free vaccum if you don't want full service. I just go with the full service cause they do better than I can. read more

Update as you can see the owner replied similar to all the negative reviews he is not at fault and did nothing wrong. Yes you did instructed me that I did wrong as we where cancelling. I didn't vacuum my car you stop me before I did anything I parked there as I waited for someone to come and dry my car. You came out instructed me about the vacuum when I ask you why you clearly say because I'm asking you to. If you would of explained everything the way you wrote it here is different.I did say what I did wrong didn't I? . You fail to see the problem. I admit no following your "rules" the way you approach me was the issue, your lack of customer service and calling me sensitive for questioning your attitude. I know you are not going to lose any business since you own one of the best car washes in the area I guess I owe you an apology I'm sorry for being a sensitive millennial that is not ok with being talked down when I'm spending my money. I when to papos today great customer service and base on my negative experience I will follow their rules thank you for the advice. Furthermore. I see you completely disregard the first incident but it's ok thank you for your time and who knows maybe one day I get tired of driving to round lake n give you another chance take care enjoy your day. PS I guess I failed to show the receipt on the dashboard because your excellent employee had my car memorized since he sold me the membership he has excellent attitude. Once again I'm sorry if you don't see my point read more

Do not go to this car wash my car ended up having more spots after the car wash that I did before the car wash because the guy doesn't change the filters also paid for services that the young lady said cannot be rendered after 3 o'clock CAR SPA in Libertyville Is a far better car wash I now Need to have my car washed after I had my car washed there this place sucks read more

Love this car wash! I've been coming here for years and they always do a great job. Very friendly staff too!

They have free vacuums, inexpensive options for washes if you are going to do it yourself. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is sometimes they rush an interior cleaning and don't always wipe the car down fully. read more

Great fast service. The full service team is polite and friendly and left my car so very clean . Worth EVERY penny!!!

Came to bring my van for a wash when a short man with gray sweat shirt and gray cap hit the hood of my car and yelled at me to pull over because there were cars behind me! Which there was but there was cars in front of me and no where for me to go! I had my son 7 old son in my car that jumped and I did pull over a little and the guy walked away. I pulled up and walked inside and he was on his cell phone so I waited and when he got off the phone I asked him nicely what was the reason for him to hit my hood and he said "no reason at all" and I said " patience is a virtue" and he said "I have patience 10 hrs a day" and walked away no I'm sorry no nothing! Just let me stand there like a dumbass! If he's the owner then well done my friend I from now on will take all 3 of my cars somewhere else! If he's a worker or a manger he needs a talk to because he has no people skills and should consider a job in a factory not working with customers and only working with boxes! read more

Just went to this car wash for the first time I was amazed at how clean it was and how nice the employees were. They did a wonderful job I will definitely tell my friends about it and I will definitely be back again. I've been getting car washes here every week since they opened but over the last month when I go through the wash it doesn't clean the middle of the car. The brushes that do that part are missing. I got tired of it and told the manager and the guy told me I need to buy more expensive washes so they will do it by hand. That was the wrong response. They lost a loyal customer. read more

SCRATCHES and SCUFFS!!! Great guys and good wash but over the winter i went frequently and in the spring...Yikes. Took me 3 hrs with the buffer and compound to get the car cleaned up. I hear this is common from automatic car washes so...be ware! read more

I can't even give this place 1 star. Today while in the car wash Bay, the car in front of us jumped the rollers, and the front end of our car hit it. We told the owner that this happened, and he told us to find the driver of the car and go through their insurance. What?? We were both being pushed by your rollers, how is this either of our fault. My husband asked the owner for his name and he refused to give it to him. I will never go to this car wash again. I will be writing the mayor and the better business Bureau also. read more

This has been a favorite car wash in the area until today, when I have never been treated so rudely. What happened to customer service?? A simple please and thank you would have sufficed. read more

Nice place to stop for a wash and dry. The machines are up to date and always full of soap.

I paid my eight bucks for a mid-level wash at 11 this morning (6/30/14). I pulled in as the attendant waved me in. Then he shouted at me "Come on!, Let's go!, COME ON! FASTER! - Rude in my opinion, I'm not going to race onto the track and mess up my car. The wash was weak and I pulled up as usual to get dried off and the attendant said they no longer do that. I left with streaks on my car, making in look worse than when I came in. I don't know if there was a change in management or just people who don't care about good customer service. This was my first bad experience there, but that's enough so that I will not return. If this business doesn't step it up, it will be gone in a year or less. -Tom K. read more

I highly recommend this car wash. My car was horribly filthy and they brought it back to the day I bought it.
