The RaceTrac #504 on Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas, is right down the street from my business. It is without a doubt the filthiest Gas Station I have ever been to & it has been for many years & it NEVER gets any better! I don't understand why they don't clean the filth off the pumps & pressure wash the fueling area. There are NEVER any paper towels & I can't make myself grab the nasty pump handles without it. It's so convenient to fill up there for my shop trucks, but we drive further to use the QT which is 2 miles further, but worth it! read more

There is a security woman that is just busy talking and texting on her phone. But do not bring your purse or laptop bag in the bathroom cause they want you to leave it at the front entrance so they can dig in it, and possibly be stolen. I will go there again and if they tell me to leave my purse and my laptop bag, I will fIle harassment charges ...... this is a violation of privacy right. read more

I'm a part-time Uber and Lyft driver at night that brought me to this part of town around 1 am. I stopped here to pump gas. Outside pump areas are dirty and ground is full of litter. I went in to take a quick piss and came to find this royal barrier on both bathrooms. Seems like the overnight dudes just didn't want to clean it. What kind of bs is this? I was able to by-pass this heavy-duty security... The ground in the men's restroom was freshly soaked with piss spots by the urinal. Floors were definitely not wet from a fresh mopping. I wonder if it's legal for gas stations to completely shut-down their restrooms if they choose to stay open. Correct me if I'm wrong - but don't most people go to gas stations to fill gas, buy snacks/refreshments, and use the facilities? I would've gladly drove another 20 minutes to avoid this sloppy mess. It looks like a fairly recently built gas station - sad this newly-built establishment is going down the toilet because of complete lack of management. read more

Agree the staff does the best it can. They have always been pleasant and professional. But I will never go back to this location. The majority of the time there are panhandlers by the doors, harassing people getting gas, or wandering around the store. Today I needed gas on my drive home from work and was approached by a panhandler before I was even fully out of the car. When he finally harangued me enough to give him some cash, he saw I had more in my wallet and pressured me for more. All I wanted was to get gas and he would not go away. Never again. read more

I usually search out RaceTracs on purpose because I'm used to finding large, clean, well-stocked stores with polite employees. Then this location dispelled that myth. The walls were dingy, dirty, in bad need of a paint job. counters were cracked, chipped, in in some areas, the Formica was literally missing in chunks. All corners of the counters and fridges has gunk just caked on. The floor was full of mud and foot prints and looked liked it hadn't been swept in weeks. The bathroom mirror was old and deteriorating and the sink was cracked and filthy. I just felt like I went in some random gas station in Tijuana. The owners and/or managers should be ashamed of themselves. I would like to add, I know we just had a Super Bowl weekend, but did you have to pile on so much beer everywhere in the store that it was nearly impossible to move around any aisle? read more

this is one of the worst services I've experienced in my life. one of the employees are just straight up rude. I had came into the Race track with my gf and her family to get some ice cream and some beer for the dad as soon as we walked in the employee started screaming at one of the customers that walked out and saying racial slurs. she might be an african American lady but that does not give her the right to say that infront of there customer. but to make it worse the dad has her daughter aka my gf to get to beer for him (we're both 16) she hands him the beer and we walk up to the counter to pay the lady looks at my gf and ask if she's 21 and she says no and then she proceeds to take the beer and put it under the counter saying stuff like you can't have the fucking beer it's against race tack policy and the dad says it's for him and she says why would you make your damn daughter get it I don't wanna get a fine over and over again we all looked shocked and the dad ask if there going to pay the other items and the employees who also look tired of her say we're free to go for our the troubles. not all of the employees were bad but this one made this experience horrible. read more

Pros Last convenience store right off the DART rail before the airport Cons People hanging out asking for change Old food or limited hot items - the hot snack items were commonly either old or out (canned/packaged in the refrigerated section was fine) Rude employees - Security guard shouting at everyone. Absolutely nasty! I only stop here because is on my way to work. They are always out of most coffees, when you ask if they have more on the back they just simply reply "oh we aint go no mo" The counters are full of coffee spills and sugar. They are sticky and yucky, I avoid buying anything except the coffee. Today I went for some coffee and there were 3 employees sitting on the cash register while the place is a mess. Someone could be mopping, sweeping or cleaning the counters, making it a little more presentable. I have not had the pleasure of using the restrooms, but as far as I read on the previous reviews, I will never go there, I would rather take a dump on once of those public restrooms at the park. read more

So it Friday July 23rd in Texas, it's been a hot day, week, month... you get the point. I go in to get those frozen yogurt/ice cream swirls that you can add toppings to. Unfortunately they were broken. So I went to try one of the frozen slushy's and all those machines were shut down, so I went over to get a drink and a hotdog, and all those machines were shut down, so before walking out I walked over to use the restroom and lo and behold the restrooms were shut down. Upon taking pictures of these various stations one of the employees felt the need to defend himself and he let me know that he shut the hot dog station down at 8:00 PM and he shut the bathrooms down at 7 PM because they close at 10 PM and he apparently needed three hours to clean the bathrooms and two hours to clean 10 foot roller grills. He never came forth with the time that he shut down slushy machines or what time he would've normally shut down the ice cream machines. I asked him if it took three hours to clean the bathrooms and said it sometimes took longer than three hours. I'm sure the young man that was talking to me was doing his best and was a hard worker but I've been a fan of race track and that style of convenience store since the concept appeared here which they have been copied by many other chains. Unfortunately I will not be frequenting this store any longer because the management is failing to hire enough people or the people that they hire are not able to perform the closing tasks in a reasonable amount of time. He basically implied that if the store closes at 10 he needs to be walking out the door at 10. I figured racetrack would want to sell all the merchandise they can and that means if you need to leave at 10:15 or 1030 then that's part of your job. I'm not the only one to notice At this store and other race tracks in the area they have been getting plenty of negative reviews.. I hope they get it together because there's way to much competition out there.. read more

This is got to be the worst race track in history. Avoid this location like the plague. dirty filthy nasty store. all the supposed fresh sandwiches that they advertise or not so fresh at this one don't even bother buying one they're disgusting. Shelves are lightly stocked never have everything they should have. All in all this location sucks, although the location less than a mile from here is wonderful and gets 4 out of 5 stars. must be the difference in crappy manager vs decent manager. Stay away from this location. read more

This Racetrack is nice to me! Clerks are friendly, it is busy! They seem to have a little of everything! Ice creams machines are do it yourself, bakery, liquor store inside. Taco stand & fuel station. Gas is regular gas prices, however, Racetrack does have less expensive gas to me. Right on Harry Hines before you get Get to N. E Hey. Close to the Dart rail/bus station! Since this Ractrac was recently knocked down and rebuilt it has definitely had an improvement inside and out compared to how it used to look. Unfortunately with all the seating areas inside and out it draws a lot of people who seem to be homeless, poor & hungry. It doesn't mater what day I go it's always around 8 to 9 pm and there's always people hanging around and occasionally asking for money, etc. read more

Don't let your kids go in this racetrac alone with the manager who works mornings my 12 year old son said he tried to peep in on him while in the restroom. I would report it to racetrac but I can't find nowhere on any of there sites. read more
