Fast-forward to this morning, my tent has peeled on a few windows and it has made it really difficult for me to see out of while driving luckily enough I remembered my receipt to show proof of warranty so I called the location closest to my job. Spoke with a gentleman over the phone yesterday and he was very helpful able to fit me into their schedule for this morning. I ended up coming late but that wasn't a problem for them. I arrived at 9:50 and was out by 10:25. Professionally done work. No hassle with using my lifetime warranty. Solid experience to say the least. He is very professional and does an amazing job. I believe the first tint that he did for me was about 7 years ago, and it still looks new. The last time I went in, I took my partners car and had the windows done. While having conversation, he mentioned he could put vinyl on the chevy emblem to Black it out. I had rated AFS a 2 star due to an unfortunate follow up experience with a less than helpful customer rep who could not explain clearly why the car's surface felt strange. Turns out the ceramic coating doing it's job properly was the reason for my concern! It was unfortunate the rep blamed the environment, missing an opportunity to promote the positive aspects of the ceramic coating. I was able to schedule a 2nd follow up visit to address some items previously missed in my service session. I have to hand it to Mario, my initial service rep, who stepped up to provide great follow up and made sure all my concerns where taken care of to my satisfaction. Mario's acknowledgment of my previous questionable experience and his attention to make it right made a world of difference. If anyone plans to visit the Midtown AFS facility in the future, definitely ask for Mario! As I commented in my previous post, the overall quality of the ceramic coating work was fantastic!
