I got used to arcade pricing at places like Disneyland, Great Wolf Lodge or other destination location arcades. The prices per game here make your money go a long way. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The variety of games is nice for kids and the claw games and prizes are enticing. Its not really an arcade for avid gamers, but it is awesome for families. I visited recently and was informed that they were closing. Im super bummed that they are closing. Hopefully its not permanent.

Note: They do offer regular ticket and non-ticket type games as well. We just didn't invest in them during this trip. Experience: My husband and I were really surprised about stumbling into this location while driving past the different stores available at the outlet. We had to stop by to not only check if there were claw machines, but if the prizes were good enough to invest in and we were surprised they were! We did the $100 deal that allowed us to get more bonus credit and a mystery prize, which ended up being an adorable Halloween Bulbasaur that had a pumpkin instead of his typical bulb on his back. My husband was having better luck then me in the machines, but I had fun regardless. What was cool about the claw machines was if you got 5 plushies from the same machine, you would be able to win the supreme size plush on top of the machine and no joke they were humongous! We didn't have too much luck in getting at least 5 plushies from one machine, but we did walk away with a handful of plushies, a small figure from a shooting game, and a bunch of cute little keychains. Definitely would want to try our luck in getting one of the supreme size plushies, but gotta make room at our apartment before than lolz

Stopped in for a beer and loved the atmosphere of this place…read more It was early yet so place was pretty empty. Seemed like a nice variety of draft beers to choose from but the drafts werent working so I settled for a bottle of Lucky Buddha. Plenty of TVs with sports on, and in the back, another large area that had older video games, some pool tavles and some electronic dartboards in the corner. There is a BBQ inside that had some dishes I want to go back and try. I can see myself easily coming into this place to hang out for a couple hours and having a good time

The bartenders serve you with a smile and there's always a lively group of patrons mingling. Pool tables sit near the restroom if you can manage to secure one. Don't get your hopes up though; it seems like a finders-keepers type of situation once people occupy the tables. I didn't feel like anything particularly stood out about this place. Some reasons are inherent to its location in the heart of a college town; there's always competition with other neighboring bars. Also, most undergrads don't bat an eye at the ambiance as long as alcohol and music are involved. But some of the reasons are self-inflicted... the dance floor needs more space and the DJ sounded like he had a generic club playlist on shuffle. Forgot to close my tab so I met the bartender the next morning with a lovely 20% surcharge. I know that's the standard for many bars (even though I see it as a mere cash grab), but 20% feels like such an insult for the subpar experience here. If you're a student at UC Davis, you should still give this place a visit. I'm sure it's a blast for the average 21 year old. It's also a ritual in your undergrad years: experiencing the crappy club scene in order to learn how overrated it is.

There aren't many bars around that combine drinks with classic arcade games, so it's refreshing to have a place where you can do both in one spot. They have a great variety of games to choose from--everything from classic fighting games and Pac-Man to Guitar Hero and pinball. I also really love the extras like the photo booth and air hockey, which add to the fun and make it easy to spend more time there with friends. It's strictly 21+ (not a bar and grill situation), which is honestly a plus--no kids running around. You do have to head down a set of stairs to get inside, so just be mindful if you're wearing heels. There's also a security check at the entrance where they verify IDs before letting you in. The place is almost always packed, especially on weekends. Because of that, I usually don't stay too long when it's crowded since it can start to feel a bit claustrophobic. Drinks are reasonably priced and taste fine--no real complaints there--but when it's busy, you definitely have to squeeze your way in to catch a bartender's attention. I've never had a bad experience here when going with friends, and it's generally a fun time in a group. That said, I'm not sure how enjoyable it would be if you were solo drinking, as the vibe really leans toward social, high-energy hangouts. Still, a fun spot with a cool concept that's worth checking out.

As a kid my father was a PBA bowler and we would travel up and down the west coast hitting up all…read morethe bowling alleys along the way-so since I was a kid who had little interest in bowling,I spent a crazy amount of time in the arcades at these bowling alleys. So began the lifelong love affair with pinball machines. You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This place doesn't have the best hours but I'm sure there is a reason for these hours-M-F the hours are 5p-10p and on weekends they open at 12p... In closing-If you ever find yourself in the Rocklin area and you get a yearning to try out your pinball machine skills-I couldn't recommend this spot any higher as they are a very unique spot offering a truly awesome experience-a trip down memory lane for some and a whole new world for the younger generation-You should get out there and have some fun. PS-I failed to mention this place is very family friendly-on my particular visit the place was flooded with kids from elementary to high school age honing their pinball machine skills and enjoying every minute of it.

Games are very clean and in excellent playing condition. There's also Stern leaderboards visible along with their own leaderboards for solid state (older) games, which I've never seen anywhere else. The whole space is clean and welcoming. It's loud, but that's because it's a pinball spot. The staff are super friendly and provide great service. The mac n' cheese bites I had last week were freshly prepared (from scratch), cooked to order, piping hot, and totally delicious--and also under $10. The beers and ciders on tap are all mostly from small, local makers and under $10/pint. They also have plenty of NA drink options. If you're a pinball person, I dare you to find a more accommodating spot for playing and vibing out. If you're not a pinball person, this is a great place to fall in love with the game.
