The other day, I saw diesel at another location and decided to stop at this one when I found it. Contrary to what I've found at other stations, the green handle was not the diesel, but gasoline. The diesel pump was orange, which stands out since Hess is green-themed. The attendant came to the car, and I handed him the card and he swiped, started the pump, and returned my card to me. He apparently had every pump under his control, but it wasn't too long of a wait. Besides that, he was friendly. Inside, the rest room wasn't bad, and they had 2 for specials on some items.

That was all until I realized last night that I had sucked my tank nearly dry, with the idiot light brightly warning me of my imminent doom. I honestly wasn't a huge fan of this station in previous years - it was tiny, dirty, had a really small store, and an older lady who must have smoked 5 packs a day was one of the rudest people I'd had to deal with at a gas station. Remembering that they recently went through a HUGE renovation, I limped over with what must have been a cup of diesel in my tank. Wow. The renovations done here were great! Brightly lit at night, clean, tons of pumps, a decent (and clean) store, and most importantly friendly staff. It doesn't hurt that the fuel prices were relatively low either. I feel weird reviewing a gas station, but frankly this is one of the better ones in the area. In fact, with how much I loathe the Hess on Rt 70, I'll probably just go here in the mornings if I need gas - despite it being out of the way by a mile or so.

Types of repairs I have seen are brakes, suspension components, lights, engine parts and sensors externally accessible, oil changes and electrical work. If you need to rebuild your engine or heavy diagnostics he may not be able help.

There were plenty of people working and one guy mopping the floor. He didn't sweep first so there were napkins and straws being pushed around. The coffee flavor shot machine was out of French Vanilla and the milk station was messy. Spilled coffee was dried on the counter. It was disappointing because there was so many people working you'd think someone could grab a paper towel and clean it up. For a new store I was surprised at how dirty it was. I'm not sure I would eat anything here.

He always has the same soggy face. He takes the initiative to ask everyone else if they have a rewards card but never seems to come and ask me if I have one. I bought at least 20 items and the cashier didn't even offer me a bag so I asked for one. Then he didn't even have the decency to pack the bag. Meanwhile, the line was extreme long today and other customers were waiting. This Wawa has the worst customer service on the universe and I will never be returning. P.S. if you haven't noticed all money is green, so everyone should be treated that way!
