No upgrades had been done to it. So I started searching for a shop capable to do the work I wanted done to it. Falling down the rabbit hole I found Utah Diesel Center and Cameron the owner. I read every review I could find and watched every video also. I then made the call and talked to Melissa (who is awesome) and Jed (my project contact). My list was long and specific. Water pump, body mounts, cold air intake, EGR, turbo downpipe, FASS lift pump, BANKS rear differential and transmission cooler covers, Redhead steering gear, transmission cooling lines and transmission cooler. When Jed came back with the estimate to do the work it was not small but less than many other shops I checked. I dropped the truck off and they had it for a month (which was my plan) and they had no issue getting the truck done. The drive home to Minnesota from Utah went without a hitch. It has been running great and I'm about to get its first oil change since I bought it. So if you're looking for a solid shop with decent rates and a great team to work on your diesel.....and I mean any diesel engine (kinda crazy. Still not questioning things, I just expressed exasperation because they had just been replaced 14 months earlier. Suddenly, I could tell he felt uncomfortable and he started really over explaining and telling me he'd show me how "stripped they were." It was this reaction that just tipped me off that something was wrong. I ended up taking the car into two other places just to ask for second opinions on all the recommended work. They were laughing at how ridiculous the proposed work was from Kapp's. One place showed me how it would have been impossible for him to have assessed the need for new motor mounts without removing some covers that isn't a quick thing. Sad. Total dishonesty. I ended up getting the leak fixed for about $800.

I hired Rob to replace the radiator on my semi truck. Everything went well at the beginning a week…read morelater the truck left and the coolant level had dropped about an inch. We thought it was normal so we refilled it and continue using the truck 2 1/2 months later The radiator began leaking A large amount of coolant through the bottom, my mechanic took out the bumper, and when inspecting the bottom of the radiator, we realized that a a bolt was never screwing to the frame, and it was left hanging in between two of the tubes. We realize that with the vibration of the truck and the bolt moving back-and-forth, it had open a hole on the bottom of the radiator. There was also a bracket that was left unbolted and just hanging on the bottom. I contacted Rob to ask about the warranty on this so that I can replace the radiator and Rob no longer answers my calls or text messages. And almost $4000 job lasted 2 1/2 months.

She picked out a car she liked and asked all the right questions. Has it been in an accident, totaled, salvaged, rebuilt? Does the car have any safety features that need to be repaired? Levia swore up and down that the car was in perfect condition. There was a little issue with the breaks the first day. My daughter took it to the Toyota dealership and they didn't want to work on it. Levia then called their guy, who agreed to fix the breaks, rotate the tires, and change the oil. Several months later, when it was ready for another oil change, we took it to our family mechanic. He changed the oil then asked why we would buy a salvaged car when our daughter had been in the previous accidents. This was news to us. He proceeded to show how it had been in a front left collision that should have totaled the car. It was put back together with crappy welds, holes drilled to force bolts together, and hammered out frame and A pillar that was "fixed" with bondo and a cover-up paint job. They put a nice bow on a turd then sold it to my daughter as he dream car. We have tried and tried to work with Levia to find a solution but they are dishonest scoundrels.
