I have had 2 dogs taken care of by Dr. Singh since 2022. I appreciate that they really care about…read moretheir pet patients, have reasonable costs, and always take a transparent and straightforward/no BS approach. I have gone to Dr. Singh for regular vaccines, surgeries, prescription meds, and lately euthanasia for my old dog. 10/10 service each time. I'm so thankful for Dr. Singh and Marcos! In 2022, my senior dog Clifford needed an emergency surgery to remove multiple bladder stones. I initially took him to an emergency vet and they quoted me $12k for surgery. The next morning, I called Aborn Pet Clinic and Dr. Singh said he would take us in that same day, quoting only $1500! After surgery, Dr. Singh called that everything went well and he was ready for pick up. However, there was bleeding from his stitches since the surgery was complex and Dr. Singh offered to let my dog stay until closing so they can monitor him. He even offered to keep him over the weekend and would come in the office to check in. But we wanted my dog home to watch 24/7, so we came back ~7pm to pick him up. Dr. Singh then thoroughly explained the aftercare/cleaning process, medication, stitches removal, etc. At checkout I was expecting a much higher cost (since the surgery was more complicated, extra bloodwork, anesthesia, extra monitoring, special meds), but Dr. Singh still only charged me $1500! I asked him twice mentioning the extra care needed, but he still kept his word and maintained the original cost. Even after we took him home, Dr. Singh emailed us to check how my dog was doing over the weekend and he responded quickly to any questions we had. Removing stiches a few weeks later was quick and easy. Thank you Dr. Singh and Marcos for saving my dog! The emergency surgery gave us 4 more years with him. In 2026, when it was time to put Clifford to sleep, we also went back to Dr. Singh. He showed great sympathy to my family and explained the process in an informative and caring way. He allowed our whole family in the room to be with Clifford when he passed. My dog hated the vet's office, so we are so grateful to be able to be with him at that time. Summary: -Dr. Singh and Marcos are great people who really care about their pet patients -Great communication and quick responses via email -Clean clinic (front reception area and back surgery room are very clean!) -Affordable cost!!! -Good quality of care; no BS and he will only recommend you necessary services -Dr. Singh is honest, straightforward, and goes through info quickly since it's only him and Marcos. He is very responsive via email.

My senior cat has been very sick and I scheduled an appointment with this doctor (Singh). My appointment being out two weeks. I've called many times, 80% of the time they don't pick up their phones and the voicemail is completely full, so unprofessional. I was told to email any prior records via email so he can get a better idea. The exact day and time I emailed the records, he writes back like a child and says can you come now at 3pm. Which is two hours away from the appointment time, I live an hour away and am working like adults usually do. I asked if there were any other times, His response was well I'm ready, your schedule is busy. I've never met someone more cold and have no care for patients or their pets. If I was treated this way as a new patient, I don't want to know how regular patients are treated. This is suppose to be a doctor who can't even spell properly and speaks like a child with 1-2 words per communication attempt. Please do us a favor and learn some social skills. Pets are family for some folks. You might be doing this for the money or doctor status but we take our pets very serious! Response to your comment- you are entitled to your opinion and I am as well. You also called my sister today who is also a patient and you emailed her you will no longer see her. You're just a pity and unprofessional person. I have no reason or gain to fib on my review. No adult who has a full time job can leave mid day, can you leave mid day if you have a surgery or appointments scheduled.. realistic answer is no. Save your time.

Charlie, my long haired dachshund, is always popular amongst the staff and other folks in line. He's handled with so much care and doesn't feel scared at all to be treated by the vet and technicians here. Although the lines are long, don't let that discourage you. The line typically moves pretty quick, unless you have some difficult pets to vaccinate. Staff will do a pre boarding check-in to expedite the process once you reach the front. Highly recommend all dog and cat owners to come here for vaccinations. Get the booster package that comes with rabies and a whole other shots that'll keep your pet safe from other possible diseases. Also, don't forget to check their website for promos! Note: first timers usually get 20% off their visit! You can get your pet microchipped here and tested for heart worms and parasites too.

And I was having a hard time looking for the paperwork so I called to let them know and left a voicemail. But I then found the paperwork and called back. No answer so I left a message. I was running like 10 minutes late and I let them know in the voicemail. When I got there, the door was open with keys in the door. I was in the store about 10 minutes. I tried calling saying hello. But no answer. So I decided to wait outside. Another employee happened to see me as she entered the store. I don't remember her name but she was very nice and friendly apologizing since it was cold and that she thought I cancelled. So we talked about what services I would like to do and confirmed. She told me I would get a call for pick up. They called about 12pm and I was on my way to pick fido up. Went to pay and asked if I could do the tip separately because I wanted to pay on a different card. The teller said no sorry we can't do that. So apologies if the tip seems cheapo. The groomer told me how Fido was and found it difficult to file his nails and services but when you let him be he was fine playing. But looking at his haircut, it looks a bit uneven. I wish I could say I'll be back but leaving your keys in the door like that is a safety/security issue and communication is a big deal. So I think this will be the first and last visit.

When I first moved into the area I had emailed a lot of vets in the area to see if they would take my dog and this place was the only one to respond. They are so amazing, I can't thank them enough. My dog has to have medication the night before , morning of and sedation before a vet appointment and the team works so great with him. I'm unable to muzzle him, and they still were willing to work with me. I cannot say how grateful I am for this staff. They treat my dog so nicely even when he growls at them. I could go on and on. This place is literally so amazing, if you need a vet, go here! They also do cats! I had a really difficult time finding a vet that would work with my dog, so I hope this review helps someone who was in the same boat as me! This place is a life saver!!

Dr. Scott and the veterinary technicians who work directly with the animals are phenomenal -- compassionate, skilled, and attentive. I've always felt confident that our pets were receiving excellent medical care from that side of the practice. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the front office staff. Over the years, they've consistently come across as cold and indifferent, which we've tolerated because we value Dr. Scott and the professional staff so highly. Today was the most disheartening experience yet. Our 18-year-old cat, who has a thyroid condition and has seen Dr. Scott regularly, had declined rapidly this past week. Our family made the painful decision to have her euthanized. I spent hours trying to arrange an in-home visit, but being a Sunday, very few were available. As a last hope, I called Evergreen to ask if they could fit us in for LuLu's euthanasia. Regina at the front desk told me there was no availability -- not even as an emergency -- and suggested we "go to an emergency vet." There was no compassion, no sympathy, and no effort to help, even though Dr. Scott was on duty. After nearly two decades of loyalty and tens of thousands of dollars spent at this clinic, I expected at least a measure of care or understanding in such a heartbreaking moment. Instead, I was made to feel like a number, not a long-time client facing the loss of a beloved family member. Evergreen's veterinarians and techs are wonderful, but the cold, impersonal nature of the front office is deeply disappointing. If you can overlook that lack of warmth, your pets will be in excellent medical hands. But compassion should extend beyond the exam room -- and sadly, that's where Evergreen falls short.

We didn't realize there were aggressive neighborhood cats until a tom cat got into a fight with Iris and ran off as soon as we stepped outside. I know this is our fault for letting her out, but I am severely disappointed in how her care was handled at Banfield. Iris had redness on her bottom from what I assume was attempted forced copulation and was squinting her left eye. My normal vet didn't pick up, so I called Banfield on Capital. I brought her in the day after the fight (Nov 1) and explicitly told them she had been in a fight and to inspect for injuries. They took her for a drop-off appointment, deemed her aggressive, sent her home with gabapentin, and scheduled a follow-up 3 weeks out. She was a 7 lb cat who had just been in a fight and needed someone to give her thorough, objective attention and a careful examination. Three weeks later (Nov 22), Iris was eating and moving more, an improvement from right after the fight. I had observed a scratch on her cheek after fur fell off (why did the vet miss this?) and tufts of fur falling off from what looked like scabs. I mentioned this to the receptionist. They cleared her for vaccinations even though she had lost more than 10% of her body weight in less than a month and didn't take her temperature. No one verbally communicated any of this to me. They sent us home and said she only growled a little... Four days later, the day before Thanksgiving, a huge piece of fur fell off Iris's hip. I now believe this was a cat bite the previous vets at Capital Banfield had missed. Capital Banfield had no openings until Sunday even when I explained what happened, so I scheduled an earlier appointment at Almaden Banfield. The Capital Banfield receptionist did not advise me to go to an emergency vet despite me telling them about the newly revealed wound and vomiting. She instead tried to schedule me for an appointment in two days. My poor sweet Iris passed away alone waiting for care at Almaden Banfield on 11/29 (went here for an earlier appointment). She had just seen a Capital vet on 11/22 who gave no indication I should be worried. I wish I had picked a different vet clinic -- one that does thorough exams, that doesn't dismiss every difficult pet as AGGRESSIVE even though she was JUST in a cat fight and ONLY 7 pounds. They didn't find the scratch on her cheek. They FAILED to find a devastating cat bite that I believe caused the infection that took her from us. I didn't notice the bite either until her fur fell off, but I didn't train for this or get paid for this. I would have stayed home if I thought I could do better. I trusted them. And now our family is grieving the loss of a fur baby for the first time right after Thanksgiving, a time meant to be filled with cheer and love and warmth. I am NEVER trusting Banfield again. They might be fine for standard preventative care, but for anything requiring thorough, objective care, take your pet somewhere else. It will be one of the biggest regrets of my life trusting the vets here. I get the impression they are all about stacking appointments and profit and care takes the backseat. They tell you to drop off your pet probably to allow for flexibility in when/who sees your pet even though there seems to be gaps in communication, concerns, and coverage.
