I am so incredibly grateful that we booked our DJ with R3 entertainment! Randy is incredible! Incredibly kind, incredibly attentive, incredibly detailed, incredibly observant, incredibly communicative, incredibly professional! From our initial phone call, I felt such ease communicating with Randy. Randy took the time to understand what environment and traditions we wanted to incorporate on our special day, which was even more important since we were doing a blend of a traditional Mexican wedding with also my Husband's side who's is American white. As the day approached and we stayed in touch, Randy continued to be incredibly communicative and understanding. We updated our timeline and Randy was very adaptive to the changes we had made. On our wedding day, I fully trusted Randy to carry our reception ambience and he delivered! I was able to experience a lot of joy during the reception because I knew I had nothing to worry about, everything was so smooth. Our guest kept telling us how great of a time they had! Just went guest would go outside to get a little bit of fresh air (no venue A/C, nothing to do with DJ or service) , Randy would play another song that would bring the guest back in and keep the party going! I was literally sweating by how much I was dancing that night, and I'm not even a dancer lol. I would go outside to get fresh air and I would immediately be grabbed by a family member to come dance with them. Everyone had a great time! Our DJ really kept the day smooth and going. I highly recommend R3 entertainment for their DJ services, and would rehire them if I had to do the day all over again!! We were gifted a beautiful little summary video at the end of our reception and I LOOOOVED it. Had my delayed wedding reception party this past weekend and Randy was our DJ. One word: phenomenal. I always expect something wrong to happen just because that is how life goes. Nope. Randy had the evening and night play out smoothly. He asked questions early on about what music we would want for everything. He played the top songs we picked out and so much more. What was a nice little treat was he was walking about throughout the night videoing the party and getting pictures to make a video of it. DJ Randy and his crew were awesome! Communication was very easy from the start and they were professional, prompt on the day of the wedding, and overall excellent DJ's! We sent a list of songs that we liked for various parts of the wedding and they seamlessly filled in music that fit the style that we were looking for. We also had a BLAST dancing all night and got a lot of compliments that they were playing great music! My husband and I agree that hiring R3 was a great decision for the wedding! We had them for the reception and did "add-on" packages for the ceremony/ cocktail hour as well as the premium lighting package. I couldn't really tell a huge difference with the lights that were set up (but I think it was my fault for picking a really mellow amber color and the ballroom was pretty light already). Don't regret paying for it but it would probably have been more noticeable with a bolder color (which I didn't want haha). Also, the Chauvet Gigbar they used was totally worth it and made the dancing way more fun. Thank you guys!!! read more

They DJ'ed for a wedding where I was in the bridal party. I think they did a really good job of playing exactly what the bride was looking for. We had a lot of people on the dance floor the whole time. I thought the DJ did a good job of helping orchestrate the bridal party entrance and the speeches. Only complaint would be they are so good they are pretty busy so the bride couldn't always connect with them right way but they always followed up and everything was prefect day of. read more

We hired R3 Entertainment as the DJ, photographer, and videographer at our wedding. All three aspects were PHENOMENAL!! Randy is extremely good at what he does and has hired some very good people to work with him. He kept the night flowing very smoothly and was always more than willing to make changes and help me when asked/needed. Randy did a great job of playing the songs I had sent him. I also loved that he asked for a 'blacklist' of songs, so I didn't have to hear anything that I don't like. I didn't actually meet the photographer until the day of the wedding, but Katy was great!! We got married in a backyard and she really worked with the space she had. I really liked her ideas and how she positioned us in different ways. Our pictures came out great! I also ABSOLUTELY LOVE that a DVD of our pictures was included with the package. Photographers typically charge too much for that aspect. I haven't seen the videography portion yet, but I know it is going to be great! In addition to the professional videographer, Randy walked around while songs were playing and took videos with his phone. The compilation he sent to us just off of his phone made my mom, one of my bridesmaids, and myself tear up! He even paid attention to the details enough to put a song that I had told him I LOVE as the background music. Randy's pricing is also very reasonable. For how great of a job they do, they are worth every penny! A huge deciding factor in me hiring them was the packaged deal. I would not have had such a great wedding and pictures/videos to remember it by if it weren't for packaging all three of these vendors together! A funny thing that happened....I stepped on glass and cut my foot. After walking all the way around the concrete in the backyard, Randy walked up to me and told me to sit down. I was having such a great time that adrenaline was definitely flowing....I looked at him like he was crazy and said 'No, I'm good :)" Then, he looked at me and said "I've been following you cleaning up your blood trail! That's not typically a DJ function." It was way funnier in person, but how unbelievably sweet of him to do that! He could have walked away and gone back to playing songs, but he was there all night to make it the best it could be! The only small bit of criticism I would give is regarding the response time (only sometimes), but honestly, the execution the day of more than makes it worth it all! One of my friends is getting married next year, and I am already pushing her to use Randy and his team! Highly recommended! read more

Randy was our DJ and did not disappoint. We literally had our wedding during the remnants of Hurricane Delores in San Diego.
