This sealed the deal for us because without retainer use your teeth will move over time . Recently, Fry changed their policy where you pay an ADDITIONAL $795 for retainers and each set will cost you an additional $50 (retainers typically last about a year). They are allowing their previous patients to drive to remote offices and still get their free retainers, but it is extremely disappointing that Fry is make by the deal they offered extremely difficult to fulfill unless you continue to pay more into your investment. My feedback is if you make a promise, fulfill it without screwing your customers.

I have been going to hygiene appts for periodontal maintenance and seeing a hygienist. Dr. Walker was diligent to point out areas in my x-rays where my gums haven't fully reattached to my teeth. I asked if he recommended seeing a periodontist who specializes in gums and treating perio disease. They were able to give me a few names of trusted providers. Dr. Walker could have said nothing, slapped some braces on me, and called it a day, but instead he made sure to really explain how perio can affect the orthodontic treatments and set expectations. I already told her multiple multiple times what the pricing is. She should already have that." I waited 30 minutes to be berated in front of the entire office full of staff and patients for asking clarifying questions about a major health and financial decision. After years of debilitating headaches and many incorrect diagnosis I was finally correctly…read morediagnosed with TMJ. An oral surgeon referred me to Dr. Herre. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Herre's knowledge of TMJ. He also teaches other dentist how to treat this condition so I would consider him an expert. Dr. Herre made me a bite splint and at first, I will be honest, the expense was really hard to swallow. However, when you consider that the hour long follow up visits (all included) for weeks and weeks afterwards, it really makes the cost more understandable. Anyway, I have had my bite splint for 5 weeks now and the proof is in the pudding. I went from someone who spent probably 10 days a month in bed with migraines to being nearly headache free. Before I also had other symptoms like not being able to chew foods, ear pain, facial pain and all of it has disappeared. My husband is thrilled that I'm not tired all the time anymore. I cannot say how pleased I am with the results so far.

Over the years I have gotten sealants, fillings and broken teeth removed on top of my regular visits and I have always felt at ease. I am never intimidated and as Dr. Scott will tell you, I never cried! It's a nice treat to go to what is usually a dreaded experience and actually sort of enjoy myself and feel cared for.
