Throughout my 1st kid's whole experience with the orthodontic process Dr Smith made every decision as if was his own kid in the chair. I also appreciated that often he would say, " let's see what mother nature does before we try & force it". I think this not only spared my kiddo unnecessary pain but also spared my husband & I from having to listen to unnecessary complains. Before The braces ever went on Dr. Smith educated our daughter (complete with grotesque photos) about the expectations & consequences of braces maintenance. Here we are a few years later and our younger 2 kids are ready for braces simultaneously....I wouldn't consider taking them ANYWHERE but to Dr. Smith. When my son was nervous, Dr. Smith made a point of talking to him about what to expect. Doctor's relaxed deminor coupled with his sincere regard for the boy's feelings won him over in a few short minutes. He gave my kid the dignity of his feeling and the respect of addressing them personally with the boy. Dr Smith is a gift. If you are going to spend a few thousand dollars on your kids mouth you couldn't invest your trust it in a better Doctor. As for his staff, Dr Smith is the best because he works with the best. They are ALWAYS on time, we have literally NEVER had to wait. When a payment needed to wait until Friday I was met with graciousness. A dental student worked on my dental trays and had to do them 3 times to get it right. Needless to say, my trays were lost, I was not offered any refund. The professionalism and customer service I have received from this practice has been phenomenal. I carry a DMO through my employer and have had zero issues with coverage and billing. Dr. Bhoot has been very friendly and talks you through the procedures as she's working so you're not surprised or wondering what's going on in your mouth. I received numerous follow ups from the office about my procedures and how my recovery was progressing and they were happy to answer any and all questions I had about them. They were firm in their recommendations but never pushy and I felt the decision was ultimately always mine, and they supported it. I actually felt like a customer and not just another number which I have experienced with other practices in the past. Altogether I had a great first-time experience at a new-to-me dental practice, which I had…read moreapproached with some apprehension as I had been with my previous dentist for many years. Gina, the Office Manager/Receptionist was very welcoming, and put me at ease. It's a clean and attractive office, with what appears to be fairly new high-tech equipment, including a superfast 360-degree imaging apparatus. And best of all, their bitewing imaging equipment neither hurts your mouth NOR makes you gag, which is a HUGE improvement! John, the Dental Assistant, made sure I was well-protected from rays during all x-rays/imaging, whereas in the past, I'd sometimes had to ask for protective gear. Since I was a new patient, the very personable Dr. Anthony Papinsick himself cleaned my teeth, which goes a long way toward making a patient feel valued. And after his thorough examination of my teeth, thankfully, he reassured me that I had been practicing good dental hygiene! I was able to view my 360-degree images on a large screen on-the-spot(!) while he explained everything I was looking at and let me know what was good (or not), something that's never been available to me at any previous dentist. Both he and John answered all my questions, and let me know what would be happening during the process, all of which seemed to be done using much newer/better tools than I've see before. I left with a good taste in my mouth both literally (refreshing mint mouthwash), and figuratively, due to how comfortable they all made me feel, and because of how well my long-delayed-due-to-Covid dental cleaning went! One tip...the building is behind the ones that front on College Blvd, and the parking lot and "front" entrance are around on the back of the building.
