I've had a dental cleaning my whole life and take good care of my teeth but they no longer want to do a cleaning it has to be either a deep cleaning or they invented a new name which is gum cleaning and of course insurance doesn't cover it. also anytime you have a crown or a composite on a tooth it comes of sometimes same day. not sure if they use cheap product or untrained people. I had to finally go get another crown at a different dentist and it stayed three years now and going.

I was an emotional wreck and the staff there treated me so kindly, from the front desk, to the technician, to the doctor. Ended up removing all four wisdom teeth in about 15 minutes. Extremely disappointing experience. Last week my left back tooth broke unexpectedly, and the sharp…read moreedge was so bad it caused my tongue to swell. By Friday, February 13th, I was in enough pain that I called Emergency Dental Kansas City. I was relieved when they told me they could see me that same evening at 6:15 PM. I was clearly told the upfront cost would be $165.00 for the exam and x-rays, and when I asked if they accepted Sun Life dental insurance, I was informed they did. After driving 20 minutes to their office, I was then told they do NOT take my insurance. Completely unacceptable. When I asked how much it would cost to remove the tooth, instead of giving me a straight answer, I was asked how much I thought it should cost. That alone was shocking. I was then told it could be "up towards $2,000" to remove a single tooth. Absolutely ridiculous. I am NOT paying that much. To make matters worse, they admitted the answering service gave me the wrong insurance information and said they were already aware of the issue. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't it corrected before wasting my time and gas? This visit left me frustrated, angry, and still in pain. I would not recommend this place based on my experience. I'm in KCMO NOT San Francisco like my post suggest

I was immediately impressed with Dr. Herre's knowledge of TMJ. He also teaches other dentist how to treat this condition so I would consider him an expert. Dr. Herre made me a bite splint and at first, I will be honest, the expense was really hard to swallow. However, when you consider that the hour long follow up visits (all included) for weeks and weeks afterwards, it really makes the cost more understandable. Anyway, I have had my bite splint for 5 weeks now and the proof is in the pudding. I went from someone who spent probably 10 days a month in bed with migraines to being nearly headache free. Before I also had other symptoms like not being able to chew foods, ear pain, facial pain and all of it has disappeared. My husband is thrilled that I'm not tired all the time anymore. I cannot say how pleased I am with the results so far.
