I received a call from my daughter's school that she was sick, and I immediately contacted the office before my appointment time to cancel. Despite the circumstances, the office would not make an exception and still charged me for the appointment. I was also disappointed by the office manager's response, which felt cold and unempathetic. She told me that I could bring my sick daughter in with my appointment which was extremely rude. I have been a long-time customer and am enrolled in the monthly auto-pay plan, so I do not feel this is an acceptable way to treat a loyal client. I would appreciate a review of this charge and the office's cancellation policy in situations involving emergencies.
