Both sides of the door, and the priming was only on small spots where they would spackle not the entire wall like we had discussed. They also stated that they "needed clarification on why I was OK with the price now." as if that was any of their business. When I called them to ask why they needed clarification on price I gave it to them. While I was giving it to them, she kept cutting me off and trying to justify her price increases and would not let me speak. She then spent the next 20-30 minutes trying to justify why she was trying to jack up my price. The lady was extremely rude. Cut me off every time I tried speaking. This is a classic bait and switch, and I would never use this company just because of that. If I had just agreed to the original price without trying to get a lower one, I never would've found that I wasn't getting the entire job done. I would've only gotten half the job done and would've been out $1000. I would then be forced to either pay them more money to finish the job since they already started or have another company come and redo it. Never deal with a company who uses bait and switch and changes their offer after the fact, and tries to lie. Especially with contracting work, because you will be up creek without a paddle.

First off final price came in $300 under bid, we had all decking replaced new Owen's Corning shingles, ice shield, vapor barrier, vent covers and flashing, this was a complete tear off and replacement. This was a stressful situation for us as it's our home and we want it done right we had a total of 4 bids before I committed to a contractor, this is a professional company. Showed up with 9 guys, and 2 lift trailers and got right to work at 7am, we were concerned about them getting done in one day but he showed up with the manpower to get it done. By 3 pm old roof was torn off and new roof on just had to finish flashing and tidy up the yard. I think very highly of this company, they know they are dealing with stressed out customers worrying about the large expense of a new roof. Again bid came in slightly below initial bid but since there was some plywood and other materials left over cost was slightly less, he could have charged me I probably would have never noticed. From the ground, you could tell they did something but 2 years later we had our roof replaced. When the contractors were showing us pictures of the roof, I noticed the big cracked piece of concrete at the top was the same as it was. The new masons we spoke to (we got 3 quotes), all told us that they didn't think the work was ever done even though I paid for it and now we had to have the chimney rebuilt from almost the halfway point on up. When we called Fire-Free, we first denied doing the job. Once I showed them the invoice the owner said they would redo their work if we wanted to wait 8 to 9 months.
