Be careful to review by yourself what your insurance will cover and what it won't, they told me my…read moreinsurance would covered everything but I end up paying from my pocket almost 400$ for a simple teeth cleaning. I made an appointment to have my regular cleaning. They called me and request all information about my insurance. They said they reviewed everything as all other dentists and said everything was covered by the insurance. I got to my appointment and filled up some forms they have there. They offer over the forms an additional service to detect cancer and I declined. While I was waiting for the dentist to start my cleaning, the assistant asked me again about the additional service and I declined again... she pushed a bit more and I told her I didn't want it for the 3rd time. Finally the cleaning started, The dentist was too harsh, she was hurting my gums pinching and pushing them way too hard, I have gone to the dentist before and I know about the gum check up and all that but this was too aggressive and hard and painful. Then she pushed me to get some fillings, I told her my previous dentist said I didn't need anything unless I would present sensitivity and she pushed saying "you have to fill them or you would have sensitivity.." I told her, I would prefer to wait because my previous dentist said my teeth were fantastic and healthy and she kept pushing and pushing, she finally said, is better to have it done now... I though, since they checked my insurance and "everything is covered" and she's pushing so dang hard won't hurt and accept the fillings. They passed me the "out of the pocket" amount I would have to pay (186$ including the copay) and I said, ok.. is not that bad. She was hurting me so much while cleaning, was too too rough. The fillings were done honestly poorly, I can feel with my tongue and even with my nails the fillings coming way too much outside my tooth. She finishes, I paid and left. Some weeks after I got a check from my dental insurance and there was another 200 dlls pending for me to pay!!! I called them and the lady over the phone told me "well, I can't review everything your insurance will cover.. If I do that for all the patients i will not have time to do anything else..." They asked me to stop by to review the check from the insurance and to clarify what was going on. When I reached the first thing I asked was "are you in network with my insurance..." they said "no" I asked why they never communicate this to me and they said "we didn't know..." we kept arguing about why they didn't tell me they were out of network and they kept saying "we didn't know.." that is the first thing everyone investigates with any type of insurance... I told them "I would have checked up myself, but you called me and told me "your insurance will covers everything... don't worry... " when I told them that, they told me "it was a mistake... " just too ridiculous.. they told me they can fix the mistake and the fixing was for me to still pay the remaining 200 in 2 deferred payments.. (plus the 186 I paid previously after my cleaning... so, their "mistake" on not telling me they were out network ended up costing me almost 400 from my pocket plus all what they sucked from the insurance for just a simple cleaning... horrible horrible service. Would never ever come back, can't trust people like that.

Never before have I experienced an initial appointment with a dentist like I had with him. He is so thorough and covers things no dentist I've seen ever has before. You actually get an education with him! He cares about you as a person and your health as a whole. I have never felt so cared for by a dentist. He has a warm, friendly demeanor that would make even the most anxious patients feel comfortable. And if he's not enough of a reason to choose him as your dentist, his hygienist is the best too! She is so sweet and makes you feel comfortable and welcome! His front staff are great too and I often get stuck chatting with his receptionist. I am so happy with my experience here and I don't see myself ever changing dentists again! Even if I move out of the area.

I even drove all the way to Arlington (a 35-40 minute trip) only to find out upon arrival that they did not accept my insurance. Further, they wanted to charge me $450! By late afternoon, around 4:00-4:30 PM, I came across Cure with Care at 1107 South MacArthur Blvd in Irving--and it truly felt like a lifesaver. Despite it being so late in the day, they took me in immediately. Even though my insurance was not accepted, their pricing was incredibly fair--only $146, including a consultation fee--which was far more reasonable than any other office I had contacted. Andrea at the front desk was absolutely exceptional--professional, thorough, and genuinely kind. She made a stressful situation feel manageable from the moment I walked in. Dr. Raval was equally impressive--attentive, compassionate, and highly skilled. I felt completely taken care of throughout the entire visit. What stood out most was not just their professionalism, but their willingness to help me at the last minute and treat me with such care and respect. In a situation that could have easily remained frustrating and overwhelming, they turned it into a truly positive experience.
