Dr Williams attached electrodes to my prostate, for pain I guess, and steamed swollen places in my urethra (which did free up my urination). And directly after that, and ever since then, I have been unable to ejaculate. He said, Oh, sometimes that happens when you get older. Well, up to that procedure I was perfectly intact that way. I went to a highly recommended urologist for another opinion, and they told me 1) the condition is permanent, and 2) why didn't you confront him about it? (meaning they thought it was his fault). Original complaint I went to Dr Clay Williams in Tyler tx because I had known him for nearly 15 years or so and I liked him back then, But I hadn't seen him for around 14 years, So I went to him in November of 2024 and told him my problems that I was going on, I was having trouble urinating because my penis was retracting in a little and I was having trouble pulling it out to urinate, and some urine was splashing on my clothes, Also I was having trouble with sex erectile disfunction and pills didn't seem to work, So Dr Williams mentioned putting a penal implant in me and that should do the trick, My wife also ask him if he wouldn't mind checking my prostate while I was there, but he quickly turned around with a angry face and let us know that he was a surgeon now and that I would have to go elsewhere for that, So over the next few days we went through several checks getting ready for surgery, I did see Dr Williams once more before surgery and I asked him if he was OK today and he wheeled around with that same angry fase and wanted to know what the hell I was talking about, I just simply ask him if he was doing OK today because I knew he had been sick lately, So we went to surgery December 2024 and all seemed OK before surgery, After surgery they were getting me checked out, the nurse handed me a urinal to pee in but I passed out when I tried to urinate, but they sent me home regardless, when I got home I got the urinal and started peeing in it or so I thought, I was actually peeing inside of myself nothing was going in the urinal, It was the most awful painful experience I had ever had, so we tried to call Dr Williams office but only got the answering person, she said he doesn't talk to people or his patients and I would have to make an appointment, I told her my situation but she insisted I call back during office hours which was 3 days away, So I called UT emergency room in Tyler and they told me to come in, When I got to the UT emergency room they told me to have a seat, I explained my situation and that I was urinating inside of myself and I needed a cathador so they took me in and the nurse handed me a urinal and wanted me to pee so she could tell what was going on, I pleaded for a cathador to be put in my penis or bladder, but she wouldn't listen, So I had to try to pee for her but the urine went inside myself again to please her and the pain was awful and I was screaming for a long time , So the UT emergency room doctor came in and said he had talked to Dr Williams and that it was not possible for me to urinate inside myself and he laughed and made a weird face, but I pleaded for a cathador and I had to pee really bad again so I urinated inside myself a 3rd time and then later even a 4th time while the doctors and nurses were all standing around me laughing and making fun of me, then one nurse said she had seen enough and got a catheter and tried to put it in my penis but something was blocking it, so she got a smaller child's catheter and after several tries managed to get it in to my bladder, what a relief that was, the doctors and Dr Williams on the phone still didn't believe me from what the ER doctor told me, But they finally admitted me and got me a room, my scrotum and lower body parts were tightly filled with urine in my system but even so dr Williams gave order not to help me, I didn't actually see Dr Williams for 5 more days, I just lay in the hospital bed in pain and my inside was filled with urine, no one helped me because Dr Williams gave orders that I must have been making it all up, Finally after nearly a week dr Williams showed up for the first time after the surgery with a scope machine to see inside of my urethra tube, when he ran the scope in me he saw that he had infact burst my urethra wide open during surgery 5 days ago and that I was actually laying with urine inside of me and had developed an infection, he laughed and said "well at least you're not septic yet, and he had never seen this before, so his nurse had the hospital put me on strong antibiotics, So the next day he put me back in surgery to pull all the implant out so I could heal up, he told me that scar tissue in my urethra would always be a problem and that I would always for the rest of my life have to deal with that by seeing him regularly, also one of my kidneys was damaged because of urine backing up inside of me and over time I might lose it oneor both, So after the removal surgery I had to go in to get my staples out, I still had the catheter in and I was dragging a urine bag around and dr Williams was supposed to run a score inside me to see how my urethra was healing but that my insurance hadn't paid him for this Scopping yet and that I would have to make another appointment, So in progress of time I noticed that Dr Williams seemed to be trying to get rid of me, he was just cold to me and was creating obstacles for me to get better, I happened to find a good urethra specialist in Dallas th read more

He explained everything about my procedure. He demonstrated what he was going to do. He was caring and very friendly. The surgery went well. I was sick to my stomach and dizzy, He gave me a foot rub in recovery. The dizziness went away. That was awesome. read more

Cattle gets herded through a slaughterhouse with more respect that I got shown today. Literally, his "minutes" versus my "hours"... All completely wasted. His bedside manner was completely horrific. After me being there for "hours" he blows into the room ranting and raving about how far behind he was. Spouting Latin jargon and egomaniacally bragging about his surgical skills. He completely failed to impress. Apparently though he got real busy making up his time by blowing through my appointment leaving me hanging with questions, I DID NOT get answers to and the same prescription as I walked in there with from my primary doctor. I simply did not get the care or attention of a doctor or "specialist" for sure. I could not be more dissatisfied and will not return. read more

I cannot stress this enough. Do not use him. There's so much to say. I showed up for my apt time at 930. Saw the dr at 1145. He spent a total of 3 minutes with me and left. I even asked the nurse is he coming back? She said were you not done talking to him? Before all of this, they couldn't "find" me in their system, and said I must have had a procedure done by another dr at the facility, which was not true. I had a procedure with dr willams. Finally they came back and said oh, you moved to another address so we couldn't find you. They scheduled me a surgery for a Monday, and said they will call Friday to confirm and go over process again and make sure everything is still a go. They gave me a sheet of paper with my surgery time. The paper said 1045. Not a single person called me. I finally called Friday afternoon and got the on call people at 4 and asked them and they said oh it's fine your good to go. They never asked for my name, DOB or anything. Just said Dr Williams Will be expecting you. I showed up at 930 because I was unsure of anything since no one called me. I walked to the front lady and she said name. I have it to her and she said you're cutting it close. Your surgery is at 945. I showed her my paper and she said omg. Ok I don't know what happened. Then she said I owe 2000 dollars for this visit. I looked at her and said what? Why? And she the office was supposed to call you last week to go over Al of this. And I said "yes, that would make sense, but NO ONE called me." And she asked who I was having a procedure with and I said Dr. Williams. She shook her head and said "that makes more sense now, we have tons of issues with his patients not having the information." This was not in anyway her fault, and luckily I had the money to pay. So I did. I get in and out of surgery and nurse says we are calling you in pain meds, because I will be hurting that night and take as needed. We left and called my pharmacy on way home. No pain meds called in yet. I waited twenty mins and called again. Still nothing called in. My wife called dr office and got on call staff and they said nothing has been called in. I went the entire first night without any pain medication. It was awful. The next day my wife called dr and it still hadn't been called in. The nurse said "I'm sorry. Dr williams had a lot of procedure and we must have forgot to call yours in". That is RIDICULOUS. The best answer was they forgot. I highly recommend not a SOUL use this dr or the facility if at all possible. I have talked to different people and they recommend reaching out to the medical board to file a complaint. The experience from the start to to the finish has been horrible. When you have nurses telling you "they forgot to send pain meds after surgery" When you have on call staff saying they can't help you or get anyone to help When you have a STAFF MEMBER at the surgery place telling us that it makes sense no one called and told me the right time or that I had to pay 2000 day of surgery When that same staff member says they have problems with a lot of dr Williams patients, I should have just rescheduled and went to look for someone else. I'm sure dr willams is a great dude. He just doesn't run things well, and his office sucks. DO NOT USE HIM! read more

Dr Williams was able to accommodate a short notice visit for my husband. My husband said he has a great bedside manner and was very personable.
