We are very happy with the completed project and would highly recommend Mark and his company to anyone looking for a thorough and reliable contractor. The quoting process was quick and efficient and detailed document outlining project tasks and costs was emailed to me within a few days. Throughout the project Mark has done a fantastic job providing updates on progress, next steps and timeline, as well as promptly responding to any questions. We are very pleased with how thoroughly all parts of the project were completed to ensure high-quality final product. As we have pets and small children it was also very helpful that Mark's team cleaned up the project space and put away all tools and equipment at the end of each workday, allowing us to continue using our yard while deck work was progressing. Overall, we had a very positive experience working with Lotz Home & Office to update our deck and would definitely work with them again on future projects.

We had Robert & crew from Iron Rock D&B redo our kitchen recently. We went with stock cabinets that…read morewere painted a royal blue, white quartz counter-top with slight gold marbling, off-white back-splash, oak plank flooring and stainless steel appliances and the results are beautiful. There were challenges along the way, as with every project, but probably more so on ours because the house was 80 years old. The old kitchen was 50 years old so was totally gutted. Cabinet options were somewhat limited in our price range and we should have asked more questions regarding layout and functionality, which contributed to the slightly lower rating due to some of their limitations. Start to finish was almost 5 weeks. Workmanship was above average. They kept me informed of when they would be on-site and what they would be working on, so I would say communication was excellent in that regard. Bottom line, I would recommend Iron Rock D&B for your kitchen remodel. D&J Smith

McCormack did an OUTSTANDING job on our home. We live in a historic area of Oak Park, IL where…read morethere are very specific requirements for restoring homes. John and his team were, hands down, the hardest working and most detailed contractors I have worked with. We originally hired them to install new windows and to replace our siding. They were so good that we added a new fence and a new front porch to the project. We, along with our neighbors, still have a hard time believing it's the same home! They arrived on time and worked each minute with little down time. Their price was competitive and they completely earned it! After the new windows were installed, we were required to install new window jams on the inside. I had already added two items to the project so McCormack had to come back to install new window jams after everything else was completed. I feared that I would get caught in a backlog of customers and that it would take a while to come back. NOPE. They returned when promised, which was so important because we were left without window treatments for 15 windows until they did! I would sincerely recommend McCormack Construction...I actually asked that they leave some business cards behind so that I could pass them along to others who inquire. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future. I actually hope to have an opportunity to work together again someday.
