Stay away from this so called company. Texted my phone 1 hour before move and cancelled. Moving out of state and left stranded without help.

Arrogant, ignorant and unskilled. Those are my "take aways" from my mistake in ever hiring these…read moreguys. I have a 6' x 8' bathroom in a rental I own and I needed section of drywall replaced where we'd ripped out and replaced an old iron pipe. The job was to drywall a 18" x 108" inch section a corner of the room and insert a 14" x 24" piece of drywall that had been damaged and then to sand, clean and paint the room - with a window, a showertub and a door, there wasn't a whole lot of wall + ceiling square footage. I showed him the bathroom and asked for a quote. "Well I can't really do that until I know how long it's gonna take. But I charge $90 per hour + materials". My regular handy man had moved to FL and in these crazy busy times, it's hard to get a sub for a small job like this. I figured with 2 guys, they could knock it out in a day. Again, an experienced handyman or contractor would easily be able to quote a total price for a job like this, so his response was a red flag that this guy isn't very experienced. He called to say the job would be 2 days to allow the drywall mud to dry, but that second day would be very brief. (it was not) I provided Zinser 3-in-1 stain block (oil), a roller, drop cloths and mineral spirits and caulk. When I came to see the work that they said "looks really good", I noticed that the bottom 12" of the long piece of drywall was missing, as was the corner molding and section of baseboard. I was shocked. "Well, you could put like a basket of flowers or towels down there" he suggested. WHAT???!! No, do it right. Finish the job. I noticed that they didn't finishing caulking (even though I'd supplied that too) and there were nail holes not spackled and areas where the ceiling and walls meet that didn't get painted at all. A gallon of that high quality paint should more than cover the areas where I needed paint, with a little left over. As a landlord, I've painted many bathrooms. They used a sprayer that would add 5 layers - totally unnecessary, not what I asked for and they spent over $100 in extra paint so they could use their sprayer toy. PHOTOS ARE OF AREAS AFTER THEY 'FIXED" my issues. This is how they left it. (you'll also notice that they painted right over their sand grit, which is why some areas look bumpy). The "owner" Tim called to say all my concerns had been addressed and for me to see the bathroom again. It looked a little better, still had rough areas they never spackled and paint overspray in the bathtub. He presented the invoice which was $2,147 (WTF) and told me I clearly didn't know "current prices". I own three properties, hire subs all the time. I know costs have increased but not like that. For really subpar work. I wrote him a check for $1800 just to get this idiot out of my life. I should have just not paid. After I left, he freaked out. Told my tenant he was going to call the cops, threatened to keep her house key. This is outrageously unprofessional and ignorant behavior. Hey out there in Michiana, to do a job (poorly) like that, would YOU pay $2,000?? Of course not. Ever. Avoid this company. He should stick to power washing, although I wouldn't trust him to even draw a straight line without remediation.

Our experience was rough, very rough. I can say this, none…read moreof them could listen. The boxes stated where they would go, they couldnt read. They asked each time where the boxes went, and when they left, none of the boxes where in the right spots. I could go on and on about how bad this was. (These kids/men) did not want to work, did not have any experience at all and literally had to be watched the whole time and didnt even listen to anything hardly at all. It really seemed like they did this on purpose, walking slow, didnt show up even with 1 dolly, we spoke about using dollies for heavy boxes, real heavy. They show up and didnt want to move them, because they had no dollies? A moving company with no dollies? They showed up almost 6 hours early and wondered why we are not ready. etc. The group of children we got, basically got paid huge to do very little. 1 guy spent an hour taking apart a couch that didnt even need to, and he argued that point for 10 mins. He also needed 2 others help to do this. We got it in through this hall with out taking apart, weve have never had to take it apart. He takes it apart anyway. (that was 200 dollars). They gave a discount, but really, they moved about 25% stuff compared to the last guys we used, moved almost all our stuff in the same time frame. This was just real bad service from people who really didnt know how to move or pack at all, some of them looked like they was 16. Making fun of us around the corner, talking on the phone, using phones while working, etc. We ended up having to move most all of our heavy boxes that we hired them to do. I caught one guy taking out a broom, he was gonna carry a broom the whole way to the truck. We hired you to lift and move the large boxes... i say... he kept walking and i had to grab it from his hand and tell him again, NO. This is not a heavy box.... I assume they sent newbies but really, we could have done it all ourselves better and faster. We should have. This time. Hopefully they hire people who actually care... We got a bunch of kids who cant read or write it seems?
