I called in a few contractors who told us the job was too big for them. Some told me to knock down the place ( 6000) square feet. One of my colleagues ( I am a physical therapist) referred me to DNK CUSTOMS. She said they do home modifications for disabled folks ( one of the owners is an Occupational therapist). To make a long story short, I called, they came, and exceeded our expectations. They passed all inspections, cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. I did not have to deal with drunk laborers coming in late or shoddy work that would not pass an inspection. They are second to none.
