7/5/26 (3rd time event with twist and shout)…read more I booked them again for my daughter's birthday at an ice rink in Westminster. I did the combo face painting and balloon twisting package. I had requested for just one artist to do both and they were able to staff exactly that. I received the name of the artist before the event. Kimberly was punctual and very good at both arts. To prevent a long line and kids losing time on the ice, I made a sign up sheet for the balloon requests so Kimberly work on them while the kids were skating. This method worked out very well. All the kids enjoyed her balloon creations and face painting. She even labeled the animals with each child's name to prevent someone else from taking them. I love twist and shout events! Lilly was our artist and balloonist and she is such a joy! She arrived on time and was easy to work with. My son wanted a lizard drawn on his arm and she was able to paint it off the top of her head. Her balloon creations were also on point. We had about 15 kids that were all able to get their face and/or arms painted and balloons made. We loved Lilly. All the kids loved her creations. So much work went into planning but unfortunately as it was only two hours before when we had to call it, I had forgotten to cancel the face painter. So much on my mind that's my bad but the fact that she still charges in full and no reduced cancelation fee rate. She just told me she could have gotten another job instead. True, but the winds were beyond my control (We're talking 40mph gusts). After I immediately paid her she continued to text me to try to make me feel guilty, even though I paid her in full. I had to ask her to stop contacting me and then she told me "we're good". Overview -Unprofessional -Good idea to check in with your client before party (common sense and every other vendor did).
