We had our daughter's 7th birthday party in our backyard. We had two people working--Camille & Becky. They came on time and well-prepared. Boys, girls and even adults loved them. We had hearts, pirates, the solar system, beachy sunsets, leopard faces, butterflies and more that I can't remember. The balloon twisting is fascinating--we had corsages, head gear and other variations of animals. I can not recommend Camille and her team enough. I was so stressed with planning my twin's 5th birthday party last minute. One of the easiest decisions during this process was reaching out to Camille and booking her. She made it easy and answered all questions I had. Even the night before, I reached out to see if she could start 30 minutes earlier and she was so accommodating. The best part is my guests really loved her work. I chose them thinking that the children would have a choice of what they wanted, not what is selected for them. I didn't like the fact they only had about 6 designs to chose from. Other vendors I had let the children use their imagination. But I guess that's what you get for the price you pay, literally. We booked Vanessa for our daughters 4th Bday party, I completely messed up on the address, however she still showed up and stayed for the entire time I booked her for. Her and helper were both very friendly. Vanessa did an amazing job with her art, from unicorns, to princess jasmine, Pikachu, Elsa snowflakes, softball, etc. After the face paint, she then went onto making balloons for the kids, and that was another big hit. I booked her for my sons birthday party back in August 8/24 to be exact she was late I tried contacting her but she wouldn't answer me so I had a friend try from her phone she answered her only when she said she was inquiring about booking her for a party. I paid in full up front so I guess that's why she got her dates mixed up because she told me that we had scheduled for Sunday which I know for sure I schedule for that Saturday she was supposed to refund me part of my money because I booked for face painting and balloon twisting but because she was late and she only showed by herself I was only able to do face painting. read more

My wife and I were searching for an activity for our little girl's 2nd birthday party this past weekend and thought face painting as a great idea. First off, if you have a minimum of 15 kids you need at least 2 hrs for face painting and 1hr of balloon time. We made the mistake of only booking her for an hour, BUT Courtney as awesome as she is, was able to coordinate the time needed to accommodate every child at our party. The quality of painting and speed at which it was done was jaw-dropping. The balloon creation was amazing and they even had a book of samples for the children to choose from which made everything so much easier for the kids I would totally recommend them for your next event!!! Courtney showed up on time and set up within minutes. The start time was 10:00 am - 11:00 and extended an extra hour to accommodate our guests :), I would use them again in a heartbeat for school functions, parties or anything you need to entertain kids and adults. My boyfriend was looking for face painting/balloon twisting for our daughters first birthday. Her stumbled upon Art 2 Entertain on Yelp. They respond quick for a quote and the booking was super easy. I got an email confirmation once the deposit was made. I contacted a Day before the party to confirm everything was in good order. The day of the party both artist showed up but to our surprise one of the artist forgot the balloons (we booked two artist, one for face painting and one for balloon twisting). We were upset but came to agreement to have both face paint since they were there and didn't want them going all the way to Long Beach to get the balloons, we were in Torrance. The artist, Pawan, told us he would talk to the owner about giving a discount for the error. Once finished and ready to pay the remaining amount, he did not give a discount. Both me and my boyfriend were left pretty upset as we did not get what we paid for. The face painting was a huge hit and everyone did enjoy but we were looking forward to the balloons. Camille called me that evening to assure me she did not overlook the situation, she was held up at another event. She apologized and was very professional. She gave me back the deposit and made sure that everything else turned out perfect. I used their service for my daughters birthday and I was glad I use them. I found them through yelp and decided to give them a try. The booking process was very smooth. I was in contact with Camille and she answered quickly and was very accommodating and honest when I asked questions. Day of event went smoothly. I used Vanessa and her assistant for two hours. What I was impressed most is that they have the assistant to take down kids name and what designs the kids wanted. The kids could go play and when it was the kids turn, the assistant comes looking for that child. This is especially impressive and important if there are plenty of kids and the long line could be a mood killer for them. I was anticipating 10 kids but I had about 20. Even so, the artist was able to service all of them for both face painting and balloon twisting. My guests parents were impressed as well because their child were happy and were able to play as opposed to being in line. I hired Taylor Ann for a school carnival because of the good reviews. From the first contact, she was very professional, flexible, communicative and great to work with. From the viewpoint of the parents and children, Taylor Ann and her assistant Danielle were great with the families. The quality of the face painting was fantastic. We saw some pretty incredible faces! It was a very positive experience all around and I am very comfortable in recommending Taylor Ann Art Party for face painting.
