The pizza pie was fabulous and we all agreed it would be worth the 30 minute drive to get a good pizza. The crust was out of this world. The whoopie pie was voted the favorite by one of the three of us. They liked the thickness of the devils food and said it approached brownie consistency. A great local stop!

They have a self-serve soda fountain and coolers, and you can buy raw dough here as well. They also have cookie sandwiches (not whoopie pies, but better). They have indoor and outdoor seating. The service was excellent throughout. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, which is always a risk as my wife makes killer slow cooker Italian spaghetti sauce and meatballs. But a while back I ordered some at Olive Garden and thought it was good, so why not? Well, I wasn't so lucky here. The sauce was quite skimpy (perhaps they want you to pay for extra sauce?) and the meatballs were too firm and rather tame. I am sure it is a matter of taste, so if you like your meatballs similar to the kind you buy frozen at the supermarket, then go for it. I like them more tender and with more flavor. My wife got the meatball hoagie and similarly missed her slow-cooked variety. I guess if we go back we could try one of their signature pizzas or otherwise stay clear of the meatballs.
