I found Master Mobile Auto Doctor by a google search (Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews). My son called and spoke with the gentlemen named Gene about what was going on with his truck, was quoted $105.00 per labor fee and scheduled to drop his truck off on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He left a note as to what he did to the truck and to call him before proceeding with any work. The next day, Monday, July 31, 2023, Gene, called my son and stated that his engine was not getting oil to the top end of the motor. My son mentioned that his sensor was broken for his oil. He asked permission to take the top manifold intake off. My son said OK. Later that day, he called my son back and asked him to come by his shop so he could show him something. My son proceeded to his shop. He asked my son, there is no way you took of the top end of your motor off (actually argued) my son said, Sir, I did the work myself with his friend (who was with him). Gene said OK. Then proceeds to tell my son his cam (rod that runs through motor) is bad, and he only has two options, rebuild or new motor. My son was like there is no way it's the motor, the motor is strong. It's not getting oil, that is the problem. Well, he needed a day to think about that total of a new motor or rebuild and to talk to other well-known mechanics (head mechanic at Ford). Showed him the pictures and videos of the cam and its normal wear and tear for a vehicle that is a 2000 and not bad. He called Gene the next day and said, I want you to put a new oil pump in it and go from there since the motor isn't getting oil. The guy said "I am not doing that" you only have those two options (rebuild or new motor). My son said then please leave as is and I will come get my truck. Gene said OK. The next day Tuesday, August 1, 2023, my son goes to the shop with my truck to pick up his truck. Gene says, who's truck is that? My son said, my mom's. He states, oh your mom lets you just hot rod in her truck. (Personally, that is none of this guy's business as to what my son is driving)! As my son was leaving with his truck in tow, Gene stops him and says, "if you put a new oil pump and new rob barring's you will have a good motor". To me that is a slap in the face!!! Did he not recall that my son stated to put a new oil pump in first thing Tuesday morning, and he said he would not do that. He didn't want to perform the easier work and wanted to get my son for a "new motor or rebuild motor"! Who does that? He slapped my son with a bill for 4hrs of labor at a rate of $125.00 and then threw another 3% credit card fee on top of it, total of almost $600 due to the 3% fee. Let's not mention his website states a flat rate of $100.00 labor fee and no mention of a credit card fee of 3%. Also, lets mention his illiterate wording on his invoice. If you read your invoice, it makes no sense (example: "CHACK OVER FOR LIFER NOSE PULL VAL COVERS O..." "FOND WATER PIP NOT BOLTE DOWN"). Do not use this guy! Now I got my son's truck back, the guy did move the motor again as the cam rod is not in same position and now there was oil in the top of the motor which was not there as of Monday night when my son last seen his vehicle and instructed Gene to not touch it anymore. Highly disgusted that an older man would try and rip off a child who is trying his best to get his truck fixed. Worst experience!!!!!!

We took my husband truck in because the AC was making a horrible noise and under the passenger floor mat the floor was soaking wet. My husband spoke to Tony and he said bring it in. They looked at it and replaced the blower motor now Let me add here that the AC worked on Low ,Medium and High speeds. Nothing was said about the switch or panel until we picked it up and Tony said we needed a new switch because he said it only worked on Low and High speeds now, which we should of questioned but we trusted his word BIG MISTAKE . He was also suppose to check the drain hose but didn't and said when we come back to get the switch he would check then. Now we had the entire panel changed already but it had been a few years they told us it had never been changed basically calling us liars. So we go today 3/19/2026 to have switch put in Tony said it would be a little over an hour we were good with that and said we would like to get oil changed on my car when we come to pick up truck. Tony said no problem. Well we come back and Tony is out and another guy with a smartbutt attitude is now there . We let him know we are here for truck and drop off car . He didnt give us a time frame but they were bringing down the truck so we went into waiting room several customers came in even one that was irrate becuz they upsold her on things she didnt need and didn't fix the problem. Well we waited about 45mins and finally my husband went up to check status now Tony is back and other guy gone. Tony said sorry I didnt call but we can't put the switch on becuz there are wires cut. Hold up wires cut . Now not only does it only work on Low and High speeds now you tell us wires are cut. Tony had absolutely NO answer to why . My husband said well I brought the truck in becuz of a noise only You Tony suggested the switch .hmm crazy right. Well no explanation could be giving. He said His mechanic wouldn't lie so basically once again calling us liars. So over 600.00 dollars later and the only thing that came out of this is the horrible noise is gone. Could we call corporate sure but we already know how that goes either they won't take your call, back up their employees , or tell you there is nothing they can do. So like others here in Polk County we go somewhere else and just like Pet Boys screwed us with a starter issue we will continue to tell everyone NOT TO GO TO TIRE PLUS!!! September 2, 2024,…read moreEXACTLY 500 miles later, my driver's side wheel flew off my vehicle - and into oncoming traffic - while driving due to improperly tightened lug nuts. It is now August 2025 and I am STILL fighting with this shop and their corporate office to have the outstanding repairs finished on my vehicle, as they only managed to fix SOME of the damages caused by their own negligence. The previous manager no longer works there, and the shop claims they have NO paperwork regarding my vehicle (which is an outright lie, as I have copies). Their corporate office is incapable of regular communication, and the individuals answering their main corporate number are unable to assist with contact information aside from "adding notes to the file" and stating "someone will be in contact with you in 3 business days." I have been without a vehicle since May 2025, have a young child starting school soon with NO mode of transportation for her and myself, and have had to hound this company CONSTANTLY to get any sort of response. This place is a joke. If you value your life, do NOT take your car here. I wish I could give zero stars, but I cannot.
