My work experience at Auto Dynamics
I worked at Auto Dynamics from April 1, 2006, until November 11, 2019, and was happily employed by the founders and owners. To work with these gentlemen was a pleasure. They always cared for their employees and customers, and we had a great team of technicians for many years. They did not have much turnover if any at all. One of the owners became ill, and the other bought him out so his partner could retire comfortably. Everything was still good until the last owner sold the company to the new owner in November 2019. Now, the rest of the story until October of 2023. Oh, how we heard nothing would change, but it did. The new owner was and is very dishonest. It's all about the money and not the employees or the customers. Employees started to leave due to this man, and over time, most of the loyal customers went as well. I was the last of the original team, and it was a struggle to go to work for this man, who was always argumentative and condescending. Narcissism is an excellent way to describe him. He went through at least ten new hires as they could not work for him either. He needs a good lesson in ethics. That job ended on October 20, 2023, and I am happy I no longer work for a man who puts himself and money above all else. I am not a disgruntled X employee; it is just the truth. The new owner is extremely dishonest and will sell you repairs you do not need with his smile. I implore you not to trust this man, as I told him he is a dishonest man and I am an honest man while we discussed what he said the customer wanted. I advised him that all the work suggested had already been done and that he should inform the customer, but no, he is a ripoff. When he first came as an owner, we had a customer with a Mercury Mountaineer who had a misfire. I diagnosed it as plugs and recommended coils. The job was never approved, but the old owner, who was still working for the new owner until they got up to speed, felt the customer would repair it, but that was not the case. So, the new owner took it upon himself to remove all new parts and reinstalled the owner's old parts, but not without closing the electrodes on at least four plugs. The customer came to pick up his vehicle after paying a diagnostic fee. He had quite the breakdown as his vehicle ran worse now than when he brought it in. I have several more cases, but it would consume too much time to point out and prove the new owner at Auto Dynamics is a thief.
