We took my husband truck in because the AC was making a horrible noise and under the passenger floor mat the floor was soaking wet. My husband spoke to Tony and he said bring it in. They looked at it and replaced the blower motor now Let me add here that the AC worked on Low ,Medium and High speeds. Nothing was said about the switch or panel until we picked it up and Tony said we needed a new switch because he said it only worked on Low and High speeds now, which we should of questioned but we trusted his word BIG MISTAKE . He was also suppose to check the drain hose but didn't and said when we come back to get the switch he would check then. Now we had the entire panel changed already but it had been a few years they told us it had never been changed basically calling us liars. So we go today 3/19/2026 to have switch put in Tony said it would be a little over an hour we were good with that and said we would like to get oil changed on my car when we come to pick up truck. Tony said no problem. Well we come back and Tony is out and another guy with a smartbutt attitude is now there . We let him know we are here for truck and drop off car . He didnt give us a time frame but they were bringing down the truck so we went into waiting room several customers came in even one that was irrate becuz they upsold her on things she didnt need and didn't fix the problem. Well we waited about 45mins and finally my husband went up to check status now Tony is back and other guy gone. Tony said sorry I didnt call but we can't put the switch on becuz there are wires cut. Hold up wires cut . Now not only does it only work on Low and High speeds now you tell us wires are cut. Tony had absolutely NO answer to why . My husband said well I brought the truck in becuz of a noise only You Tony suggested the switch .hmm crazy right. Well no explanation could be giving. He said His mechanic wouldn't lie so basically once again calling us liars. So over 600.00 dollars later and the only thing that came out of this is the horrible noise is gone. Could we call corporate sure but we already know how that goes either they won't take your call, back up their employees , or tell you there is nothing they can do. So like others here in Polk County we go somewhere else and just like Pet Boys screwed us with a starter issue we will continue to tell everyone NOT TO GO TO TIRE PLUS!!! It's a shame that you put your vehicle in the hands of strangers and trust they will do right and this is what you deal with . Took my car in on August 1, 2024 for a full inspection and belt replacement. September 2, 2024, EXACTLY 500 miles later, my driver's side wheel flew off my vehicle - and into oncoming traffic - while driving due to improperly tightened lug nuts. It is now August 2025 and I am STILL fighting with this shop and their corporate office to have the outstanding repairs finished on my vehicle, as they only managed to fix SOME of the damages caused by their own negligence. The previous manager no longer works there, and the shop claims they have NO paperwork regarding my vehicle (which is an outright lie, as I have copies). Their corporate office is incapable of regular communication, and the individuals answering their main corporate number are unable to assist with contact information aside from "adding notes to the file" and stating "someone will be in contact with you in 3 business days." I have been without a vehicle since May 2025, have a young child starting school soon with NO mode of transportation for her and myself, and have had to hound this company CONSTANTLY to get any sort of response. This place is a joke. If you value your life, do NOT take your car here. I wish I could give zero stars, but I cannot. read more

They took me right in and mounted and balanced my RV tire immediately and sent me on my way! I saw none of the other stuff the complaint reviewers were writing about. I couldn't have asked for better service and it was an overall impressive visit. They will be getting all my referral business from now on. read more

Over two hours for four tires and an oil change. and that was with a confirmed appointment. waiting area is freezing. Restroom is broken down with no toilet paper or paper towels, walls peeling. Tires are tires and these are OK. Not superior enough to offset the poor wait time or conditions. I can and will do just as well elsewhere next time. read more

I went to this location under the impression that my car needed an alignment. The guy told me my brake caliper on the right side was seized and that was the cause of my car pulling to the right charge me $700 to do the work and when I pulled out the parking lot, the car was still pulling to the right, and stand well shaking, when I was able to call back to relay these facts, I was told that the tire was split so I checked my tires. Tires are not brand new nor are they split. This location is super slow with no customer service. I do not recommend going to this location on Cypress Gardens Boulevard to anyone. The store's problem is the GM. I came in to get some tires replaced all four of them and there was a problem with the internet that was down for several days the crew in the back was able to do it but the GM overly complicated things. The first things is GM was upset with one of his crew members because the crew member took it upon himself to try to repair the internet problem installing a new device on the network the way it should be set up now how do I know this because the GM was correcting the employee upset with him and everything right there in public so everyone can see. Word of advice correct in private, praise your employees in public it goes a long way. Secondly because the internet was down the point of sale system was down to include not only credit cards but cash as well. Again this was publicly known from anyone who was there the GM did not want his crew even doing cash sales because he couldn't track the sales as the entire shops didn't exist before the internet I don't know. With the GM wanted his people to do was physically take down a copy of the customer's credit card which will get to that later on as well as their phone number email address and driver's license number. This was an explain to me until after everything was done I have a big problem with that. I said I can go get cash GM said no I had to have your credit card number written down and I explained to him I don't want to leave my credit card number because I have been hacked in the past from leaving my credit card number with a store. He insisted that was the only way but he did suggest I could leave any credit card number it didn't matter. So I left a credit card from one that I didn't want charged it explained on the paper that we wrote down and I signed they would not charge that card and they would contact me soon as the system was up so I could come back in and give the credit card information and they can run it. Sounds simple right even though I was dead set against it. System gets repaired later on that afternoon but I don't get a phone call so I call first thing in the morning about half an hour after they should be open no answer I let it ring many many times no answer so I'm assuming the system's still down because it's affects their phones as well. On a break at work I swing by to check in and their system's been up since yesterday I said okay I'd like to make the payment with this card so they go to retrieve my paperwork.... I bet you can guess where we're going with this now huh.... They look through file upon file they even went through the trash cans guess what they didn't find. The paperwork with all my important information on it to include name phone number driver's license number email and credit card number.... I've since had to cancel that credit card and I'm waiting to get a new one. I left as I had to go back to work but I made sure I let one of the coverall crew have my phone number and asked him when they find the paperwork to give me a call he called about 2 or 3 hours later so they haven't found it but they needed me to swing by and make a payment on on the from the tires. Now I had an appointment that I made online with a quote. They tried to charge me more for the tires than the quote was but we got that corrected he was good about that not the GM you know when the actual guys in the stores who knows what he's doing and actually cares about customers. Through all this turmoil and stress and repeated trips to the store which mind you cost me money from my job taking time off and the fact that they lost my credit card number and information I didn't even get so much as an apology much less a discount or anything off other than my veterans discount. I can easily just walked away from the whole deal and said you know what I gave you my credit card information charge it it's not my fault they lost it but I'm an honest guy. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and they didn't even check the level. They simply drained and refilled the same amount of oil. Now my oil level is above the full line on the dipstick. read more

this place is slow and wants to take you for a ride ... they told me my brakes were needing b to be replaced because the pads were thin ... I said I'd looked and they still had a ton of wear left. the guy then said the pads were wearing more on the inside and had less than 3mm left of pad on the inside pad for each side ... they wanted $600 to do a brake job which probably is in line with midst shops, but I can do it for just material costs so I bought parts to do it myself ... once apart I found the pads were all worn exactly the same and all have 3/8" of pad left everywhere ... so, they are liars, plain and simple ... read more

BUYERS BEWARE!! I took my car in because of squeaking brakes and was told rotors were the cause. $300 later I still have squeaky brakes. I took it in again and they said they couldn't hear it!! I also asked for an alignment. They hooked it up and said they aligned it. I asked for the print out and they said their printer was not working. So I asked to see the data on the machine. They said it erases after finishing. I drove the car and it still pulls. The people are friendly but the service is SLOW! Two strikes and I'm out! read more

Yesterday, I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. This took 1 hour and 40 minutes. By the time I got home (15minutes), my truck would not start. They did not put the cap back on the air filter. When we called to speak to the manager, he said I will talk to my employee, that is it nothing more. This is the worst place to take a car for ac repair they gave me a estimate of $1865.00 And said I needed a new compressor new drier. Said ac wasn't holding air. And they took all Freon out of my car while testing it. When I went in blower and ac was working came out and it wasn't working at all. And my husband knows little about repairing cars and he did a great job. My husband went on internet researched and looked at videos and realized I needed a resistor so my husband put a resistor on my car blower started working. Got Freon from Walmarts and than he added it . and all of a sudden I have Ac and its cooling really good weeks later and it only cost me $120.00 People be a ware this company is ripping people off. read more

Dropped off my jeep to have it aligned. Next day I found that they didn't tighten up any of the bolts that they lossened up, this ended up making one bolt pop completely off. I blew a tire on the way to work (I work at night). After work that morning, I saw my other rear tire was low so I freaked out about it happening again. I saw a Tires Plus in the area open at 7 am so rushed there to take care of it before heading back to Orlando. The salesperson was friendly. However, very dishonest and shady. He told me they had my tires in stock. They'd get me in right away and take a look at the other tire. Stressing that I'd just gotten off from work and was really tired, I inquired on time. He told me it takes about an hr for 4 tires so it'd be about 15 min for one, so I'm thinking 30 if I need 2. I said ok, I'd like an oil change if theres decent time (if I only need 1 tire). He comes back saying there was a nail in the 2nd tire so I need 2 tires. I inquired on pricing. He wasn't forthcoming. I have been going to Tires Plus since I was a teen in GA so 15+ yrs. They have ALWAYS volunteered pricing and shown a print-out or they show you on the computer. He gave me a total for all the work (300+) and I said, so 100 a tire? He's like, 121 with taxes. I said fine. I get my bill when complete, and there's a $15 charge PER TIRE for a tire hazard warranty that WAS NOT DISCUSSED. I felt the tire price was high but thought that since I got 4 tires the last time, I may not know how expensive they were. I was there at 7:30 and didn't leave til 9. So it was 1.5 hrs. Took way longer than he promised. I should've just said no oil change instead of telling him if there was time. Not to mention, there are a lot of black scuff marks and other scratches on my car on the drivers rear end that was worked on that wasn't there before. I would not trust them. Makes me feel like I should've asked to see my tire for proof of the nail that was in a irreparable area. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Tires Plus for a long time and I've always had good service and very fair prices. Today, I had outstanding service and I have to make it known. I have a BMW and noticed a significant coolant leak this morning. Before driving all the way to the dealership, I stopped by my local Tires Plus (5996 Cypress Gardens Blvd. Winter Haven, FL 33884) to have it checked out. Fortunately I didn't try and drive it to the nearest dealership because the engine would have probably overheated. It was a broken purge tank hose. My service advisor called the BMW dealership and made sure they had the part, then he called about a couple other parts that I knew needed to be non-urgently replaced and he was able to acquire them. All issues were fixed in a timely manner the same day, and I know I saved hundreds of dollars over the dealership. The great thing is, it turns out that on such short notice, my service advisor took time out of his busy day to personally drive to the out of town BMW dealership to pick up the parts. This is customer service to the extreme! Needless to say, I'm staying loyal to Tires Plus for all car services that they can provide. read more
