    I really wanted to like this place since I love supporting small business. Came to order carry out for dinner . The cashier lady was super sweet and really nice and she also give me coupon. The inside is typical fast food look similar to Popeyes or KFC. I order fried fish that was a tad on salty side and I love it salt but it was too salty . The side of mash potatoes tasted old and almost like is turn bad on the sour side . The corn was watery and soggy. I might come back just for the fish but not for the side . Maybe is because I went at dinner time and probably the side been sitting out all day

    DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!! I wanted to like this place so bad but I just couldn't find anything to like besides the french fries that came with my croaker platter I ordered a croaker platter and 10 piece fried shrimp. The croaker fish looked nothing like any croaker I've ever seen. It tasted dry, flavorless, and I could still see scales on them WTF!! Shrimp was just ok but not the best...they could have had more flavor too. I didn't end up eating all my fish because it tasted terrible even with hot sauce on it. I'm not only rating this place so low because of the food in general but if you saw what I saw on the condiments you would have too. I knew something was fishy when the lady asked if I wanted any hot sauce and she told me to grab the bottle off the table while she walked away to get a small container to pour it in. The expiration date was from June 2018 on the hot sauce!!! I trashed that when I got home. Oh...the expiration date on the cocktail sauce December 2018...yeah that's only a lil over a month old but you are an establishment so throw your old stuff away so customers don't get sick! I smelled the tartar sauce and it smelled old so that got tossed in trash as well. Mad I wasted this money on the meal but I will be saving the leftover fries to eat with something else. Oh and I'll mix the leftover shrimp in with some grits in the morning. If you want to try this place that's on you but trust and believe there was NOBODY in there and now I know better! Never again!

    Great food. Small location with really nice attentive staff. Will come back. Food takes awhile but worth wait

Do U even have an EXPO on duty?! Do they check orders as they leave the kitchen?! I ordered a FAMILY SIZED Cesar salad and got a salad for 1! I ordered 2 dressings & got 1!!! I have photos of the salad! They are supposed to use the bigger round bowl for family sized salads! This rectangle bowl is much smaller. And, they didn't pack it nearly full of romaine! Much of the romaine that is in the bowl is discolored & bad! I am beyond dissatisfied. I'm angry. This is NOT even close for a $35 salad! We need more romaine & more dressing! I have stupidly spent far too much at this place. Corporate needs to get involved. Every time we order, the bag is way over packed -- ever think of using 2 or more bags?! -- and liquids are NEVER secured! I have experienced countless deliveries with soup, salad dressing & the oil for bread turned upside down, pouring out of the bottom & bottom side of the bags! My Uber driver even told them tonite to make sure the bag was assembled correctly. They added 4 staples at the top of the bag!!! How is that going to help my delivery?! Are U serious?! One of the managers, Alex, is nice. But, our deliveries are still arriving WRONG! He drove to deliver salad dressing once that was completely eliminated from my bag. We ordered the family size salads! And, I always order an extra bowl of dressing. Again tonite, I got just 1 bowl of dressing! Where's my second one?! And, where's the romaine?! The pricing is astronomical for these sloppy things to keep happening. Alex/other managers, U need to do 3 things: o Tell your staff to READ ORDERS before preparing them! (Why do they keep leaving out the 2 orders of salad dressing I order?! It happened again tonite.) o Tell your kitchen staff CONSISTENCY MATTERS! (Prepare decent sized portions & make sure portions are exactly the same per order!) NOTE: We got chicken & fries a few days ago & it was crazy! We ordered a bunch of them for the family. Two orders were acceptable -- they had a decent amount of chicken and fries. The other 3 orders were awful! There were barely any fries in them & the chicken was in tiny, little pieces. Another example, we ordered a focaccia loaf a couple days ago. It arrived warm & soft. Ordered 2 more tonite & it arrived cold and hard. What the frick is going on?! How hard is it for staff to execute their jobs professionally?! CONSISTENCY MATTERS! o Buy THICK CARDBOARD INSERTS to put in the bottom of delivery bags! I'm done having my soup, salad dressing & oil for bread leaking out of the bags! It gets all over the food items inside the bag, it gets on the Uber driver & in their cars. And, I'm out the proper amount of soup, salad dressing & oil that I ordered & paid for. Does any of this make sense?! If staff don't care -- it shows -- just close down the restaurant.

As someone who resides in Dumfries, this is a very welcome addition to upscale dining, and I was greatly surprised by the decor. I've visited many casinos locally and around the country, including Vegas, Atlantic City, Biloxi, Mississippi, and New Orleans, and I must say this restaurant's decor is on par with many of the other fine-dining restaurants. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was not busy at all. In fact, there were only a few people at the bar and another couple who came in at the same time as us in the dining area. While someone would look at this and be very skeptical, I took it as number one. I was coming on a Sunday night around 5:30. Number two, it may be early for dinner, and number three. I could assure you that my food would come out hot. My server was excellent. The service was terrific, which I had heard was the most mixed part of the experience previously, due to staff turnover and inconsistent service levels for a fine-dining establishment. Akeara was fantastic, I mean, truly remarkable, and coupled with the excellent management and leadership of Veronica Keller, they made the dynamic duo who saved my dining experience. Akeara was very well-versed in the menu and sensitive to dietary restrictions when asked about many of the ways ingredients were prepared. She was invaluable and well-versed in preparation methods, as well as in drink pairings and menu options, to ensure we had a great culinary experience. The food I really enjoyed the calamari. It was fried perfectly. The two dipping sauces were fantastic. The rose salad is absolutely a star on the appetizer menu. I was a little skeptical about the crabcake because the way she described it sounded more like a fried crabcake than a pan-seared one. I think had she mentioned pan-seared, I would have likely gone with a crab cake, but I am certainly not disappointed in the calamari, and again, the salad was phenomenal. The steaks were a different story. I think they marinate the steaks, although I got different answers from the server and the manager when I asked; however, the steaks were a great cut. I saw someone get the bone in Tomahawk, which is presented nicely, hanging from a hook, with the Chef coming out to torch butter over the steak and vegetables beneath. I got the New York strip. It was a very, very lovely piece of meat. The New York strip was severely underseasoned. In fact, I had to ask for steak sauce, which is a cardinal sin of any steak restaurant. I think had they used a little more salt, pepper, and garlic to finish the steak It would've been perfect. The cook was absolutely perfect, medium rare. The seasoning was just off. I also got the risotto and short ribs. The short rib was well seasoned, though so much gravy from the short rib almost covered the entire plate of mushroom risotto. Tasty but just a little disproportionate in presentation. The bread basket was terrific, and the honey butter was nice, though the bread had a slight cheese flavor. It was still a really good combo. The baked potato is by far one of the best values on the menu as a side item. It was large. It was hot and fully loaded. The creamed spinach was a little more cream-cheese-forward, and it seemed like the spinach needed a little something else and seasoning, so it wasn't as bland. The desserts were another story: the toffee cake I thought would look like something I would get at Hell's Kitchen looked more like a very crumbly cornbread with ice cream on top. The vanilla ice cream tasted great, but the cake was just OK. The crème brûlée was on another level. It was fantastic, creamy, full of vanilla, and had a great crunch from the Brulé sugar on top. What really made this meal so good was the service. I talked with my server about my dissatisfaction with the two lobster tails: I did not appreciate being told they were pulled from the lobster shell, and they were served cold and rubbery. The server immediately jumped into action, spoke with the manager, and had the lobster removed from the bill. Thank you so much. But what really impressed me was the time that both the manager and my server spent at the table. Veronica was truly a pleasure to meet. As a military officer who has commanded hundreds and been responsible for thousands, she really hit it out of the park with her ability to problem-solve and immediately address issues as they arose. She was very engaging and really a pleasure to be with. This dynamic duo, who've only worked at this location for less than 5 months combined, really made me say I will come back to the restaurant, assuming they may have had an off night with seasoning and timing in the kitchen. If there's anything to take away, the food is OK (3 stars), the service from this dynamic duo was fantastic, and that's why they got the four stars.

Never had an empty water glass. Service was friendly but really slow and inconsistent. The server was attentive and accurate sharing how food could be ordered to accommodate food allergy. But I always felt like I was waiting. When a place is busy it is understandable when there are extended wait times, but there were only 4 other tables in our room. One table, seated after we ordered, had different specials explained by a different server. Again. Service was friendly but very slow. Food was not special. The short ribs were exceptionally salty. Risotto was creamy but lacked flavor. The special was Chesapeake Chicken, gluten free and ithoir any adjustments. That was great! But the dish was covered in sauce, overpowering the dish. Dessert included crème brûlée which was also GF and nice but just standard. Good wine menu with reasonable price per glass and standard but not noteworthy cocktail options. I'd prefer to give 4 stars but the price of dishes wasn't what you'd expect for the taste, but staff were friendly and we were fed without having an allergic reaction. On the way home we passed several options that had similar menus that had more flavor and more reliable service. I can now say I checked it Rose's Casino. As a midwestern gal with plenty of Iowa casino experience, this is nothing to write home about. Maybe next year.
