I thought I was almost 10 minutes late for my appointment, but they're running late from lunch. I'm in line behind a stroller and three pregnant women. Over 20 minutes after the hour an office worker passed by to ask us if we were part of some protest. The other women said that a morning appointment has a wait of at least half an hour for a total of two hours before you can go home but no food or drink is allowed in the waiting room. I have yet to be seen without a wait at this office. I came here for a few appts and noticed that I've always waited over an hour each time. On my last visit, I asked if I must ALWAYS wait this long. Their short answer? Yes! They suggested I come around 2PM on a Friday, which would be better. So I made my next appt as such. Come Friday, when I got there at 1:55, there was a notice saying they were out to lunch till 2:15. Umm. Okay. They didn't open their doors till 2:20. I was the first to sign in AND STILL I waited 30 more minutes. I mean... WTH?! Why are you making appts like this? I'm torn about the star rating because I want to like the office / Doctor but the receptionists weren't very nice about patients waiting - like it's no big deal to them and it's an obvious occurrence. As for Dr... Idk. She's nice but not very informative thus far. I hope this relationship changes for the better and soon. Overall rating is 2.5 : Minus 1.5 for the long wait times / their inability to schedule decent appt times and minus 1 for receptionists' unapologetic attitude for the wait or the way they receive patience during that wait. read more

I love Dr. Qureshi & the girls there. I only waited 1.5 hours ONCE & that's only because she was delivering. DUH! She delivers babies so I'm confused why everyone is surprised if they have to wait. I am due this week. She was super sensitive to my needs. I was having anxiety attacks at work and she understood. Yes lunch is from 1-2 for them and they often open back up at 2:15 ish. Let them settle in. Great doctor and staff and after being left by Dr. Capelli 8 months ago, I'm glad he left the state because Qureshi is totally better and understanding. read more

Dr. Qureshi is the absolute best! Wish we could go back in time & have had her for our Doctor our first pregnancy. Never makes appointments feel rushed. She listens to all concerns & her staff is amazing! They are on top of everything & very nice. & for everybody complaining about her showing up late at times forget she's delivering babies! She has no control over when these babies decide to arrive. She has to get to her office for appointments/is on call for deliveries & also going to the hospital to check on/discharge her patients! Best obgyn I've ever been to Dr.Qureshi Delivered both my kids and circumcised my son I had the best experience ever with her shes a kind doctor likes to make jokes to ease the mood when she sees your stressef out I no longer live in california. I Move to Nevada i was driving 4 hrs just to go see her that's how good of doctor she is!! yeah theres wait times but its because shes delivering babies!!! Common sense people! Thank god she is retiring. I don't think she could keep up anymore. She's good at what she does but has zero time management skills. The my told me to change and undress from the waist down and made me wait for about an hour: I was the first one who signed in, yet I hear her going into other rooms treating other patients. I called 3 times to let the front know I'm waiting, they said you can let the doctor know. When she comes in, instead of apologizing, she says I am retiring so you can find another doctor that does not make you wait anymore. What!!!!! Thanks for doing me a favor! read more

I saw dr qureshi for my 2nd pregnancy in 2013, she delivered my daughter and she always made me feel so comfortable and was always very helpful and answered all my questions. I am pregnant with my 3rd baby and I am going to her again, She is the BEST! Her staff and receptionist were also amazing ! read more

This place is not professional at all, the receptionist are rude and dont know what they are talking about, me and my girlfriend scheduled a prenatal visit here and they told us they accept are insurance, so we went, we were seen for about ten mins doc confirmed pregnancy, now they are saying they do not accept are insurance, so we had to switch doctors and hit with a hefty bill, wait they bill us, isn't that your fault for accepting us and than declining us, so we call to try and clear this up, are they are very rude and unprofessional saying they will send us to collection if we do not pay, how about they do the right thing and say this is are fault you don't have to pay, nope they just care about money like most shady buisnesses read more

Just took my daughter here for the first time we were the second people in the waiting room got there at 10:40 for our 11 appointment. By the time the doctor decided to show up the lobby was full with at least 10 women waiting to be seen. My daughter was called in at 12:30. When I asked the receptionist if this was normal she said yes we always double and triple book our appointments WTH is that. She said the doctor always makes new patients wait. Thank goodness i have PPO insurance because we won't be coming back here. The lady next to me said last time she waited three hours then left. So if you want to spend your whole day here then I would recommend this place. Also you can here them talk about every patient no privacy at all. read more

I regret going to this doctor for half my pregnancy. I decided to switch doctors because I wanted to deliver at PIH rather than Whittier community. When I let Dr. Qureshi know she snatched my registration forms out of my hand and told me "stop wasting my time and switch doctors already" when I did switch PIH informed me that I had placenta previa and placenta abruption on my chart which Dr. Qureshi never informed me about. When my daughter was born she was taken away to NICU and I was admitted for complications. Yesterday I received a bill for $480 from their office when I called and asked what the bill was for her receptionist stated that it was a fee for not delivering with Dr. Qureshi. After questioning why there is a fee for not delivering with Dr. Qureshi the receptionist changed my bill to $80. I will be reporting them to my insurance. Beware of this shady office somedays they would attempt to charge a copay when my insurance covered 100%. I wish I could leave zero stars so I guess the one star is for the man who does the ultrasounds. read more

I have gone to kaiser my whole life and refused to trust anyone else! Rite now i am pregnant with my insurance is pending so i was referred to Dr. Qureshi.. I saw her yesterday for my first prenatal appointment and she was very sweet and fantastic!! also the ultrasound tech was very sweet and amazing!! Very unprofessional and uncaring Doctor. Went in to this office and staff was very kind. The Doctor however was RUDE and unwilling to listen to my case specifically. She wanted to put me on hormone injections to reduce my fibroids which had already been done previous years with no success. Two prior doctors had suggested hysterectomy or ablation which is what I was leaning toward and she wanted to put me back on injections which would not solve eradicating my fibroids. Very poor decisions on her part. She does not seem to be very caring or sympathetic to the needs of a female which is very strange to me being that she specializes in female issues. I wish with all my heart she would find another specialty because gynecology and obstetrics is an area where she has no compassion what so ever. When I told her what other doctors were suggesting her response was..."I'm not going to do any surgery on you what so ever. It's injections or nothing." I went home and bawled for days having been in pain in suffering for years upon years. This woman shattered my hope that Doctors are trustworthy and safe people. read more

I've been to Dr. Qureshi 3 times because my insurance sent me to her, and am very happy that I don't have to go back there. First of all, when I call the office, I am put on hold, for periods up to 15 minutes. While I understand that doctor's offices are busy, I don't think that 15 minutes without acknowledgement is acceptable. When I finally get to speak to someone, the secretaries never seem sure about their answers. For example, I asked if I could get some blood tests drawn at a local lab, and was told "I don't think so". When I asked where I could get them done, I was told that the specialist that I was referred to "might" be able to do them for me. Very helpful. These same secretaries dropped the ball on submitting my referral to the specialist, so basically I didn't get any of the first trimester prenatal screening that I needed before it was too late. Now, about the doctor herself. When I first saw her, it was for infertility. I was frustrated after a year trying to conceive without results, and wanted to start looking for causes/treatments. Well, the doctor's answer was: "infertility is 2 years without being able to conceive", despite the fact that pretty much every recommendation says that one should seek help for infertility after 1 year without being able to conceive. So I left that appointment even more frustrated. And headed off to a fertility specialist. Am now pregnant after IUI, and went back to Dr. Qureshi, thinking I'd give her another chance. Oh, did I mention the wait times in her office? Don't expect to be seen earlier than 45 minutes after your appointment time, when the doctor strolls on in without apology. But it gets better. When I told the doctor that I'd had a history of spotting in my pregnancy (a very common but scary symptom during pregnancy), she refused to examine me. I mean, I could understand a family doctor keeping their hands off, but an OB!? Then she made me feel guilty about my upcoming plane trip to see my family for Christmas, stating "she wouldn't recommend it". Yup, an OB that likes to make a pregnant woman feel like a fragile flower that should sit on the couch until the baby comes. Not what I'm looking for! And the last point to seal the deal?: I go to see a perinatologist and tell him that I'll be switching from Dr. Qureshi due to insurance changes. He tells me that Dr. Qureshi is still covered under my new insurance. I tell him that I don't want to go back to her. He says "good choice"! read more
