Looking for a new sandwich place? Well, I finally got to try Mr. Graham's Sandwiches! It's located…read morenear the F7 building and right beside Mrs. Graham's Macaron Cafe. I intially came here for two things: a) the Cebuano and b) the Apple Pie Soda! So, I was able to try the big 3: The Cebuano, Four Cheese, Bacon Please., and Sloppy G. Let's start with the Four Cheese, Bacon Please! It's a Frico Grilled Cheese Sandwich filled with mozzarella, cream cheese and cheddar. Also, there is a thick layer of beer-onion-bacon jam (so good!). It comes with tomato soup and a big serving of chips (potato, camote + taro chips) plus their aioli sauce. Addictive! The Sloppy G is their version of the sloppy joe. Th filling is ground beef, minced mushrooms and cheddar cheese smothered in creamy, thick gravy. It comes with the chips and coleslaw (Ask for the spicy coleslaw!). Now, it's time for Mr. Graham's Cebuano! It is his take on the classic Pan Cubano. His version has lechon drizzled with it's own drippings, ham, cheddar cheese, pickled green and yellow mangoes, with some crispy lechon skin. I recommend that you ask them to have it pressed. Super DELICIOUS! Oh, yes, it also comes with the chips! Finally, we have to talk about Mr. Graham's Apple Pie Soda (only Php90). ERMAHGERD!!! This is a definite MUST. TRY. OR DIE! It tastes as good as it sounds: Apple Pie! LEGIT! I cannot tell you how good this is. You just have to get your butt over to Mr. Graham's Sandwich Shop. Like, right now. If not, I'll drink all the soda available that day!

The selection of sandwiches were minimal but taste and flavour were exceptional. I liked the Club…read moreand Sub Mariner (only dish with fish, breaded dori it seems) most, followed by their Cebuano (localised Cubano) as I'm not too much a fan of fatty lechon, and their four cheese was good as well though I'd wish they had more bacon jam (that's what they call their mix of bacon bits with a honey-like sauce) and lastly the sloppy G. Try out the hawt slaw if you int[ spice as well, and don't forget to grab yourself a bottle of apple pie soda. Ambience: Good, casual and decent capacity on the second level Taste: Great, flavours were beyond expectations Presentation: Great Value: Great, good bargain Service: Great, they take note of what you ask for Overall: Great, will definitely visit and hope they got new flavours then

This guy right here is always my first stop on my way to the gym. He offers more than just healthy…read moresandwiches but pastas and salads as well. They are placed in plastic canisters which make them very handy in case you want to enjoy your meals on-the-go. He makes sure that each sandwich is packed with fresh and healthy ingredients to sustain me during an intense workout. My favorite of the bunch is Crabsticks and Mangoes or previously known as their California Maki Sandwich. Strips of crab meat, lettuce and ripe mangoes are generously distributed between two slices of wheat bread. A sheet of nori is even thrown into the mix in order to attain a Japanese vibe that I think this sandwich is going for. Their Rosemary Chicken is also worth a try. Whether it's for a pre or post workout, carb or protein loading, The Sandwich Guy is definitely my guy.

The first thing that you will notice about TSG is that it's extremely affordable, and that's an attractive quality of any establishment to any newcomer to the working life. Amazingly enough, the sandwiches aren't too shabby either! I expected a bland, measly serving just because the price tag seemed too good to be true but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the serving was actually decently-sized and it tasted pretty good too. My favorites here are the ham, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich as well as the English egg sandwich. Friendly tip: just add P20 for a cup of frothy premium iced tea! Diba? San ka pa?

*Note: This is a 4.5 Star review…read more So far, one of the best restaurants that serves legit grilled cheese sandwiches. I'm usually apprehensive ordering grilled cheese sandwiches because, well, it is something that my brother and I make at home. Melt is different because, though they serve grilled cheese, the make theirs over the top! Deciding what to get was no easy feat but I decided to get the Bacon Mac & Grilled Cheesy. It's Maple glazed bacon with 3 cheese mac and cheese sandwiched between honey drizzled sourdough. Oh my goodness! I was full after eating half but couldn't let the second go to waste... It was perfectly pressed on the outside, crispy bacon, super cheesy macaroni, and gooey cheese, and ugh... I just want one now. It was served with a bowl of tomato soup. Can we talk about the other sides? I tried their Chorizo Risotto Balls, Tomato Soup and Butternut Squash Soup. The balls were pretty good but, I wish there were more chorizo bits in it. The tomato soup is "real" tomato soup; it is sour and thick. Not like the soup you get in other restos. The butter squash was sooo comforting! I actually preferred pairing it with my sandwich over the tomato soup. The prices for the sandwiches are pretty high but, the servings are BIG. So, I suggest that you eat here with a friend and share the meal. Best to eat these sandwiches fast and furious to get the ultimate cheesy, stringy experience! :)

We stopped by on a Wednesday at lunch time and saw that it was empty and had to give it a shot…read morebecause who doesn't love a (possibly delicious) banh mi sandwich, right? I ordered the protein monster and the homey ordered the lemongrass pork sandwich set that included a milk tea with boba (for an extra 15 pesos). Not sure what specific milk tea though because the were five different options and they never clarified which one with us. We just asked for a milk tea. First and foremost, the banh mi sandwiches were amazing. Specifically, the mayonnaise dressing on both were delicious and really put the whole thing together. As far as the meat was concerned, both were well seasoned, but the lemongrass pork really was leaps and bounds the best overall in flavor. I'd go back again just for that sandwich alone. If I had to give it a rating from "1" to "I'd eat this meal 10 days in a row, for every meal of the day" I'd give it a solid 8. As far as the milk tea boba, I'm giving that a hard pass. Not terrible, but we should have known better ordering a milk tea at a location that doesn't specialize in it. That's a basic rule of thumb to live by. Good job BMK, I'm coming back for more!

Everyone knows that the best place to get Bánh Mì is in the Makati area. So, when this place opened…read morein SM Megamall, I was excited to try it! I dropped in at around 530PM and I was the only customer. There are about 5-6 small tables to sit down after you give your order. The menu had the standard Bánh Mì options and a few fusion versions. I ordered the Classic whole Bánh Mì. The sandwich was a little lacking on the meat but the flavor was good. The veggies were fresh and plentiful; still crunchy and had the right amount of vinegar taste. As for the bread, it was "supposed" to be toasted and crunchy. *explanation to follow* My biggest complaint is the staff. I was the only customer there at that time. The staff was gossiping the whole time and couldn't wait to clock out. 1) They said that the Classic was out of stock (WHUT?!). But, no, I insisted on the Classic. If I didn't insist, they wouldn't have opened a set of ingredients to make the sandwich, 2) They took their time to make my sandwich. I had to wait for 30 minutes to get my Bánh Mì. Apparently, it was because they made the sandwich and FORGOT to toast the sandwich. So, they had to make a new sandwich. In the end, they barely toasted it. So, yeah. I didn't feel the "love" that people have been raving about over their sandwiches. I'm willing to try it again, but maybe not this branch if it is still the same staff.

I think I'm on a sandwich phase right now because everywhere I go, I've been ordering sandwiches…read moreand it so satisfyingly delicious every time I get my fix. I found myself in Shangri-La last week and the moment I saw the sign that says sandwiches, I immediately wanted to try it out. I mean yeah, almost all restaurants serve it or some form of it but a restaurant that declares it serves SANDWICHES. PASTA. and something else definitely deserves my attention. I love it when a restaurant menu is cleverly named. Like my sandwich "Animal Farm" which is a turkey and bacon sandwich, Journey to the center of the Earth is a sausage sandwich. It's cute, admit it. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, the indoor space is a little cramped but it'd be a good place to stay a while and do some work on your laptop or read a book, the chairs are cozy but hey they make up for it with the large outdoor space. The food looks awesome and I liked my sandwich (Turkey & Bacon) even though the bread was a tad tough and as for the other one, I like my sausages to have that strong meaty tough flavour, like it just came home from war and it's the meanest sausage ever but theirs were the nicest one I've ever tasted, no strong flavour there. Still, there are a lot of other options on the menu I've yet to try and I'm holding out judgement. You can't judge a book by just reading one paragraph now, right? Check it out and see for yourself! Let me know what you love about Pages so I can put it on my list!

If there's one restaurant I frequent at Shangri-La, Pages Deli is it. First of all, I really love…read morethe cozy ambiance of the restaurant and it makes a perfect setting for a date or if you just want to be alone and read a book. Speaking of books, the interiors are similar to a reading room with plush chairs and pretty mood lighting. Keeping up with Pages Deli's book theme, the restaurant's sandwiches are also playfully names around famous book titles such as Of Love and Other Demons (chorizo and swiss melt sandwich), Gulliver's Travels (shrimp sandwich), To Kill a Mockingbird (chicken sandwich) and Canterbury Tales (turkey with cranberry). Apart from the playful take on the sandwiches, Pages Deli also offers soups, salads, brunch items, pizza, various kinds of deli and cheese platters, dessert and coffee. In addition, they also have a selection of wines, cocktails and local and imported beers. One of the sandwiches that I frequently order at Pages Deli is thier Charlotte's Web Sandwich. Served on whole wheat bread, the playful take on the children's classic is composed of deli ham, fresh mango, honey dijon mustard, tomato and lettuce. This sandwich is filling and Pages Deli definitely does not scrimp on the ingredients. The deli ham was sweet and it complemented the fresh mango and honey dijon mustard spread. On the other hand, their pasta is more for those with a heavier appetite, and I really like their Carbonara pasta. The sauce is very creamy and is made on the spot and has bits of bacon, basil, mushrooms and topped with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and toasted garlic bread on the side. As a huge coffee fan, Pages Deli also offers a limited selection of coffee choices, and my favorite being the Ice Cafe Latte. The blend is very good and it's quite refreshing and will either go best with your sandwich or pasta order.
