Subway for lunch? YASSSS PLEASE!
Growing up, I never liked sandwiches and... veggies. My parents, especially my mom had a hard time feeding me greens. When I reached college, I became obese. I still did not eat veggies and healthy stuff until my friend introduced me subway.
The first time I tried subway was during my 3rd year in college. That was when there was a buy one take one promo. We shared the promo and I just ordered something and did not even want my sandwich to have anything except the bread and the chicken. (The server looked at me like a weird person)
One day, I craved for subway but this time, I asked the server to put a few lettuce and that's the time I started eating veggies. One by one. I also started eating healthy, exercising and guess what! I lost 40 lbs in total. I'm maintaining my diet until now and I know this is weird but I started eating veggies because of subway.
My favorite is their chicken teriyaki with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, a few japaleno, onion, and cucumber. The best part is their honey mustard dressing. Preparing sandwiches is easy as ABC. I love that I can grab them and have it for to go always. I just hope that they open more branches especially in the south. read more
