I have been a home owner for over 40 years and never had a contractor say that Westhampton Beach was too far. It is 20 minuets and we don't traffic issues like out east. He came over made the assessment and placed and set traps with a camera so they knew when they captured the squirrels. After catching 2 squirrels and putting stronger wire over the entry point. Then placed another trap just in case there might have been another way in. But no more issues with the squirrels. Alex the owner came to my house I half an hour late for an appointment and only came after I called him to remind him. He seems surprised to hear from me and said ohgeez I thought it was Friday. He did show up that day however. He sealed up the house from the outside and replaced a vent cap. He said he placed four traps in my crawlspace that day.I paid him in cash 220 and an additional $30 for the vent cap. That was Thursday. Last night Friday, a rat ran across my kitchen right in front of me I found a hole and blocked it up and then this morning when I was in the bathroom getting dressed a rat ran into the bathroom from my kitchen. Alex had been to my house the day before supposedly to check on me but I think that he really went to take a picture of the vent cap because he had forgotten to do it The day before and he wanted to show it on his website. That was the real reason he stopped by again. He said that he laid additional traps in the basement yesterday. I don't know. I now have rats inside my house that I didn't have before. Maybe it's because the house was sealed. I called Alex this morning I was extremely upset and shaking, two rats in one day Were more than I could take I asked Alex if he could please come and put down poison or more traps and he said that he could not come until next Saturday. When I asked him why he said he needed a helper when I asked him why he needed a helper when he didn't need one the day before he didn't have an answer. He kept making excuses and every time I would ask him To please try to fit me in, to please help me , it became more obvious he was just making up excuses and that he was never coming back to finish the job he started and I now had a bigger problem than I had before. I believe in rewarding good work and giving good reviews but I also believe in telling the truth and when someone does a terrible job That should be made known. I believe that all Alex wanted was a good review and I gave him one. But when I needed his help he blew me off and just kept saying over and over again I understand I understand I understand.
