Decided to meet up with a mutual friend to check this place out... First observation: They have a nice TV setup with signs designating what will be on each screen. Their Facebook page shows if they will not be playing any games and which game will have sound. That's very considerate, in my opinion. I started out with a full order of Frips and Dip--fresh fried potato chips with a creamy French onion dip. The dip had pieces of real onion in it and was thick--almost the consistency of a cheese ball. Still creamy though...I liked them enough I got a half order later. Chips were nicely seasoned... My entree was the broasted chicken. This comes with your choice of potato and another side. The chicken was generously portioned, the chicken moist, and the breading perfect. Beer is kind of pricey--$8 or so for a "craft" mug. My beer of choice was Mango Cart, which I'm glad to see in more places around Iowa. Our service team was awesome and checked in regularly. One note--the website indicates they have Silver Strike bowling but this was no place to be seen. All in all, I enjoyed Jersey's--they weren't busy on this particular visit--which is puzzling. There was a huge party, a group of little leaguers and parents (30-40 people) there at the time. We were told that because of that, the food might take a little longer, we were fine with that, but appreciated the heads up. Despite that, the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time.
