We never have water in the trunk and the mats were wet on the underside, causing condensation to build on the underside of our Weather Tech mats. I was having to use our home carpet cleaner to clean and suck up the water. It was enough water to fill a 5 gallon bucket. I finally had enough and contacted Chrysler Cares and I was directed to call my local dealership. Future Dodge absolutely refused to look at the vehicle and have lost me as a customer. When I called Vacaville, they said come in first thing tomorrow morning and we will take a look! My service representative was Nick L. He was friendly, very helpful and regularly kept me up to date on what was going on the with vehicle. When I ended up needing a rental car, he helped me find the closest place and helped remove all the car seats in my vehicle when I needed to load them into the rental. Nick went above and beyond in every aspect. My vehicle ended up needing to stay in the shop for 5 day and upon return, Nick was there to finish out the job and make sure that I was a satisfied customer. We need more people like Nick. I will definitely be back if I need an oil change or other service! Thank you!

Many of the car salesmen I interacted her were conniving and couldn't tell the truth to save their lives. The male assisting me with choosing and purchasing my car here was no exception. The Carfax report that he showed me of the vehicle I purchased was fabricated, as I recently found out. After purchasing the vehicle, he said he was going to have people "detail" my car before driving it home. The detail consists of them putting crumpled trash in my center console and wiping (what appears to be) grease all over the entertainment area. The male assisting me also pretended to "assist" me with getting car mats, but he never followed up no matter how many times I contacted him. Overall, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I'm sure things have changed in 5 years, and there may be a strong possibility that those same workers I dealt with aren't there anymore; however, after such a bad experience with them, I will not come here ever again. 0 out of 5 stars if I could.

The best car buying experience I have ever had by far! Entire process from initial contact to…read morereceiving my car was frictionless and effortless. Excellent communication, service, and timely replies. I received a significant discount on the OTD price, even when including the BuySide Auto fee. On top of that, I NEVER had to step into a dealership, talk to a salesperson directly, spend hours playing the "let me ask my manager" game, or have to talk to a Finance manager and repeatedly say NO to unnecessary options. All communication was easily done through email and text, although phone and in-person contact was also available. Process starts with completing a convenient online request. From there, Kim contacted me to fully understand my wishlist, range of optional requirements, and any non-negotiables. After reaching out to their dealer network, within a day she provided a list of potential matches with estimated OTD prices, which included some in SoCal available for transfer to the Bay Area and cars still in production with estimated availability dates. I had a lot of questions and some requests and Kim was very responsive and instrumental in relaying them to the dealer and advocating for me. Even my request to remove all dealer installed options was negotiated by Kim and granted by the dealer with no hassle on my end. I paid the BuySide Auto fee to reserve the car for purchase and when the car was available I opted to pickup at their office in SF. Home delivery to SF is also currently no charge, while delivery outside of the city is available with a modest fee. Upon first contact, I asked if weekend pickup or delivery was available, since their normal hours are on weekdays. Kim made note of it and remembered my preference even after the sale was completed. Chris was able to make himself available for Saturday pickup! We took a walk around the car took a look inside. We spent no more than 10 minutes reviewing and signing paperwork, received my keys, and I was off with my brand new car! Both Kim and Chris were great to work with and I have no hesitation in working with them again for future car purchases.

Absolutely Outstanding Service - Honest, Knowledgeable, and Trustworthy…read moreAfter another Volkswagen dealership told me I needed almost $8,000 in repairs that were supposedly not covered under my warranty, I brought my car to Volkswagen of Vacaville for a second opinion--and I am beyond grateful that I did. From the moment they looked at my vehicle, it was clear they actually knew what they were doing. Volkswagen of Vacaville determined that every single issue WAS covered under my warranty. No upselling, no scare tactics, no inflated labor stories--just honesty and competence. Chris, my service advisor, was phenomenal. He communicated clearly, kept me informed every step of the way, and treated me with respect instead of brushing me off. Nick, the foreman mechanic, went above and beyond to thoroughly inspect the car and explain what was actually needed (and what wasn't). I also want to recognize Jennifer, the service manager, who was involved behind the scenes the entire time. Even though she wasn't always front and center, her leadership and advocacy were obvious throughout the process. She ensured everything was handled correctly and professionally, and her involvement truly made a difference. The difference between this dealership and the previous one was night and day. Volkswagen of Vacaville saved me thousands of dollars and a massive amount of stress. If you want a dealership that is ethical, knowledgeable, and truly advocates for their customers, this is the place. I cannot express enough gratitude to Chris, Nick, Jennifer, and the entire team. They have earned my trust--and my business--for life. Highly, highly recommend.

That changed when they failed to honor my extended 10-year warranty, and tried to charge me $1,700 for something that should have been covered. I even tried calling Honda Corporate to get this sorted out, and that didn't get me anywhere either. Between the dealership not standing behind the warranty and corporate being no help, I was left feeling stuck and out of options. I won't be going back. It's disappointing because I had no complaints before this happened, but a warranty is only as good as whether it's actually honored when you need it -- and this experience showed me it isn't, at least not here.
