Not having heard anything from Home Depot or the installer, I called Caleb four days later. Caleb assured me he would contact the installer. Three or four days later I called back. Caleb said he was giving the issue to McKenna. Several days latter McKenna assured me she would get back to me within a few days and would contact the installer. Days later I heard nothing back from her or the installer. On the 30th of December, 32 days latter I received call from a garage door company in Knoxville, who told me they would have a $150 up charge because of the distance to travel in addition to the regular installation charge. However, they told me that they believed the charges were being taken care of by Home Depot. I thought at least Home Depot is doing the right thing, even though they didn't bother to call and inform me. Rather than to assume this was correct, I drove the 50 mile round trip back to the Maryville. TN. Home Depot and talked to Caleb. He was very arrogant and dismissive. He said the only thing he could do would be to dismiss the companies travel charges. This, after waiting thirty two days to get a garage door opener installed!?! I asked to speak to the store manager. I explained the situation to Jeff. I also mentioned that given this bad experience, I was going to write a letter to the CEO and post a negative Google review. Jeff put his hands up and said, I don't care what you do. I don't care if you write a review or not. He then proceeded to do the right thing and dismiss the charges. If Jeff would simply have said, you are right, we are sorry for this inexcusable experience. We will addresss what happened and train our employees to take ownership, to follow-up in a timely manner. If this would have been Jeff's response, I would have been happy. Instead Jeff told me in no uncertain terms, he could care less. Effectively Jeff is saying I don't give a s*** about your negative experience! As a veteran, I have been a fan of Home Depot for many decades. Never have you been so dismissive, unempathetic and arrogant in terms of addressing an issue. We have spent a lot of money with Home Depot over the years and we were about to purchase kitchen granite tops, counter backsplash, etc. from you. From here on in, we will find a more customer oriented, customer responsive company to deal with for all future purchases. Cearly not that Jeff cares and more than likely, not that today's Home Depot's management team cares, but this is the review I will send to your CEO and post to google reviews, Home Depot review as well as other social media outlets.

If I could give less than one star, I would…read more Called them out to fix two refrigerators: One due to the refrigerator section not cooling and the other needing a new water line. The tech who came out was extremely friendly and tells me the one not cooling just needs to be unplugged and let the ice melt that had built up. I was told for the second one I just needed to buy some 5/16th hose and shark bites and that would fix the problem. I thought OK well I will do that. Guess what? Neither of these fixed my issues. Basically $200 for a service call down the drain. But wait the nightmare gets worse. While he was on site and since he wasn't going to spend any energy fixing the refrigerators I thought I would ask him to fix the top rack of my dishwasher. I already had the parts and he agreed. Half way into trying to fix it, he discovered that there were parts missing. Tech let me know and I had him order the correct parts needed and they agreed to come out and fix it (for a fee of course.) Which I was fine with. Parts came in and the tech came out while I was not home and installed the new track. I have no feedback on the tech as I was not there, but I can comment on the work which was TERRIBLE. I am not sure what he did, but the top rack now leans down which means items placed in the bottom rack can not be too tall or the sprayer will hit it. Now I am having to pay someone else to come out and fix a dishwasher that I paid them $300+ to fix already AND pay someone to come out and STILL fix two refrigerators. Stay away...stay far away from this company.

We had to replace our 20+ year old appliances. We ordered the same appliances so that they could…read morefit in the existing cut-outs in our kitchen. We ordered a gas cooktop, wall oven, and a dishwasher. We tried to find an installer who could work with gas. We finally found Jeff at Appliance Service and Installation. After I told him about the appliances, he wanted to come and look everything over. Little did we know how appliances have changed in those years! Wall ovens now require their own built-in wall cabinet and they no longer fit in the existing base cabinet! They are 2" deeper. Jeff told us that he would have to move the existing gas line so that the oven could fit in the same space. Our old dishwasher used to be hard-wired. Now it came with a plug so we had to install a new plug. So, this was going to be quite a job. Jeff is VERY knowledgeable and professional and he explained how he would proceed with the job. He told us how much he charges (he works by the hour) and our job took him nearly 7 hours (he told us it would take this long). It was WORTH it!!!!!! We are confident that the electrical works, everything was done correctly and safely. The new gas line was installed with a new regulator. All the appliances are working correctly and smoothly. What a relief! Jeff is also very respectful of your house. He worked very cleanly! He even swept up after he finished! In the end, I believe you get what you pay for. I would NOT hesitate to have Jeff come and work on any appliance that we have.

The owner a well reputable designer is foremost an artist and her store is her art studio. It is alway changing with the most incredible articles of design and imagination.
