I've been to many Irish Pubs but this may be the most authentic one (Founded 1811) that I have…read morevisited! Walking in, you have a beautiful bar flanked by a wood burning fireplace surrounded by chairs/ couches. Open the adjacent door and you have the other side of the bar and entrance to the back bar. The back bar is just amazing, complete with a replica of The Titanic! Trust me, you won't see anything like this anywhere... back in the day this bar commissioned folks to go on the ship, they said. What makes the place is the Locals... here they will talk to you, spark up a conversation unlike Dublin & Cork City. Spent 3-4 nights in here and the people you meet and conversations/ gibberish really make it authentic! The bartenders are also all good, dealt with 3 different ones and all of them had plenty of info on the area/ recommendations, etc. The Guinness is amazing and they DO NOT serve food during the off season... have a bag of salted peanuts! Even met the owner and he bought me a shot of Jameson. Must See// Talk Later
