I thought I'd lost the store when they closed in Parkville, but recently found her in Weston thanks to a friend's invitation to a felting class. There is a great selection of fiber, yarn, wool and lots of projects on display for inspiration. The shop owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about everything she sells. The shop has a real collaborative studio feel to it, very inviting with several comfy places to sit and create. Did I mention they offer classes on occasion. Our instructor was a very skilled felting artist and the class was great fun. We even enjoyed a lovely lunch prepared in the shop for us during our class. The only negative was the further distance from my home, but there is great fun to explore in Weston once I get there.

The pricing at Momo's is in line with everywhere I look at, and while not the absolute cheapest possible the ability to go in and find the kind of yarn that matches what you want to do is something you can't do when you order online. From beginner to advanced, Momo's gives you access to yarn and knitting supplies, and if you go with a friend the experience can be even better. I took my son on Mother's Day weekend and not only did I find what I was looking for, they involved both of us in the process so that we took away from the store more than just yarn, we took from it a great memory.
