Look...Jack in the Box isn't a 5-star restaurant…read more BUT...that isn't the Yelp question. Yelp asks "How was your experience" and OVERALL this Jack rocked it!! Haven't been to a Jack in ages but stopped for lunch on our drive from Indy to Denver. Excellent service. And we had a $93 order so we put it on 'em in drive thru... The egg rolls are actually delicious and the burger was full of flavor as well!! Teriyaki bowl was also so so good! Churros were warm and tasty!! Only the taco didn't live up to expectations but it was still good. Surprised on ALL accounts! Excellent!!

I made a mobile order on the app on my way home from a late teach of teaching elementary school: 2…read moreBreakfast Jacks, 6 tacos, 1 jumbo egg roll, for drive-thru pick-up. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes after I made the app order, which showed was ready in the app. There were many cars in the drive-thru: from the window, around the building, past the speaker box, to the viewing box. It was about 6.15p, evening dinner rush, I get it. Busy. There was van in front of me that sat at the speaker box for a few minutes. I rolled down my window and heard an employee ask "Are you ready to order?" Seeing many people in the van, I thought picking up my order by going through the drive-thru would take much longer to wait. I pulled out to drive around to the front of the building to go inside to pick-up my order. As I was driving around I saw all of the cars in front of the van at the speaker box were gone, I drove up to the speaker box. An employee opened the window while a manager was taking the order at the speaker box. I told the employee I pulled around to pick-up my order because the app said it was complete and the van was going to be a big order. She walked over to the counter, grab my closed bag w/ my name written on it, and handed it to the manager. The manager told me to not pull out of line again for if my order was not ready then she was going to have to ask me to go park. I let her know the app said my order was complete, to which her reply was the app says an order is complete sometimes when it is not (that is comforting). After all of that, I get home, open my bag to have dinner, and my jumbo egg roll was missing. I had the sauce for the egg roll, but no egg roll itself. Also, there was a handful of taco sauce packs in my bag. I did not request any in the app, nor at the window, and I actually do not use sauce on my tacos. Translation: wasted sauce packets. The tacos were a little skimpy. The breakfast jacks were good. At least there were napkins in the bag, so there is that.

I ordered a box combo and the Caniac. The box combo was supposed to have 4 tenders, fries, slaw and toast. The caniac has 6 tenders, fries, slaw and toast. I normally check my food before leaving, but because of the wait, i was ready to go home. Once I arrived home and looked at my food, the chicken looked dry. It in fact was very dry. I also only received 3 tiny dry tenders in my box combo and 4 tenders in the caniac. The slaw was bland and flavorless, The fries and toast were fine thank goodness. For the price of the food, which was about $30, i should've received ALL of my chicken, and because of my chicken being unbreaded and having to drop it once ordered, it shouldn't have been dry like it's been sitting. I won't be coming back to this particular location.

Prices are reasonable and you can actually get a meal for under $10 bucks . (Shocker) Cashier was friendly. I ordered 2 Big box combos. Chicken strips, crinkle fries, coleslaw and Texas toast. In my opinion this franchise is overrated. Strips were good but bland . The sauce was just ok. Coleslaw was too runny. Crinkle fries were either cold and old or undercooked. The best part was the Texas toast . Thank god for gift cards I didn't use any monies or I would have been mad.

They were about 1/2 lb of the fattiest ground beef you could get. When you got home the bag was almost see through from all the grease. They only cost $2.00 for regular burgers and $2.25 for cheeseburgers, if I remember correctly. When you drove up to place your order they would give you your drink, and when you paid for your food, they refilled your drink. It was one of my memorable hamburger joints. Now, you pull up, place your order. No drink . You drive around to pay for your food and they give you a can of Faygo soda. Pretty cheap soda. The burger is still pretty big but nothing like it used to be. The fries were okay, but next time I'll ask for no seasoning. It was kind of sweet. . So a cheeseburger, fries, and cheap soda, all for $11.00. It was good to reminisce, but the current Burger Barn will never match the original. The lady working, or maybe the owner, was super sweet. She said it was now called Bubba Burger or something like that. The White Barn part of the sign is covered up. The neighborhood is kind of sketch, but this is right next to the police department. No worries
