Every trip I made to the West Coast growing up included a stop at Fatburger. It wasn't just a…read moremeal--it was a ritual. One bite and I was right back to that very first Fatburger, standing in a tiny burger shack with the smell of grilled beef drifting into the street. To me, this is the quintessential West Coast burger, so seeing a Fatburger open in Texas still feels a bit surreal. They're still doing it the way I remember: fresh, handmade patties, perfectly seasoned, piled with crisp veggies and whatever condiments you want--because here, they don't force a "house style" on you. I always get mine "all the way" with mayo, mustard, and a slice of classic American cheese. And yes, I order their XXL because I'm slowly training up for the Triple X challenge I dreamed about as a kid. The fat fries--Fatburger's take on steak fries--still hit the spot. The service is friendly, and despite everything being cooked to order, the food comes out faster than you'd expect. The dining room is small, just like the old shacks I grew up with, but there's extra seating on the patio if you need it. All I can say is this: once you've had a Fatburger, you'll never look back at that other California burger chain.

Popeyes does it so much better and for less money. The thick fries were expensive and tasteless. Do not waste your money here.

My mom and I decided to grab lunch at In-N-Out today. I'd only been there once before, but I…read moreremembered loving it. When we pulled into the parking lot, it was absolutely packed. Walking inside was even worse, it was unbelievably crowded. There wasn't a single open table, and my mom and I barely managed to find seating on stools in the very back. My mom wasn't a fan of how overcrowded it was. She said they really need to enforce a max capacity because it was so crowded you could actually smell people's body odor. On the positive side, our order was taken quickly, and the food came out really fast. The burger was incredible. It was perfectly seasoned, and the bun had a nice toasted crunch around the edges. The cheese fries, though... hard pass. The cheese hardened almost immediately, so every time I picked up a fry, the whole thing came up in one giant clump. Freddy's definitely has much better cheese fries. My mom ordered regular fries, and she described them as "spongy." After trying it myself, I knew exactly what she meant. They didn't have that crispy, fluffy texture, instead it had a spongy texture. The pink lemonade was another disappointment. It was way too tangy for both of us. Overall, I really enjoyed the burger, and it's good enough that I'd absolutely go back. I just think In-N-Out could improve the overall experience by managing the crowd better, using a cheese that doesn't harden so quickly. and tweaking the pink lemonade recipe.

I rarely leave reviews but today we were stunned by the exceptional service we received. When we…read morearrived at P. Terry's today our order was taken immediately by whom I believed to be a supervisor. Once completing our order we pulled up to pay and asked to add an extra cookie onto our order, the supervisor said this was no problem and gave us our updated total. After completing our payment the manager was switched out with a regular associate. She greeted us and gave us our drinks, a few minutes later we were off with our food waiting at the light when all of a sudden the employee was up at our window while we were waiting with our extra cookie, she mentioned it wasn't added in the bag with the switch up but she wanted to make sure we had our full order and so that we wouldn't be disappointed. This level of dedication and service to the customer is far above and beyond. I hope the young lady who completed our order knows that we very much appreciate her getting our item to us even when we were off the property waiting at the light. This immediately improved our moods and we were genuinely shocked because you NEVER see that type of service. We unfortunately didn't confirm her name but the receipt says Barbie, regardless Thank You very much!
