I'm very certain I've been to this QuikTrip before! This quick trip is located off of a busy Street and it's easy to access through various points. This gas station has many gas pumps featured. The store is clean and well stocked. Prices on most snacks are very fair as well though there is a lot of here parking at the gas pumps. Restrooms are clean and a staff is friendly too. This is a newer quick trip, and yet another one that undergoing the corporate remodel of the kitchen and cashier area. This makes the QTs no fun to stop at, and I am not a fan of the new layout. QT is always good for fuel. This particular QT has a large parking area which makes it a good place to meet up in a public location for local on-line sales and freebie exchanges. This store has consistently clean resttrooms. They also have a good snack and beverage selection. Just not a fan of the construction and new store lauout. read more

Here in Independence, they built us a brand new Quiktrip. Oh it's nice inside. The store has every Hotzie sandwhich Quiktrip makes. Along with the sandwiches are apples with caramel dip, carrots with ranch dip, assorted fruits, yogurt parfaits, and deluxe Hotzies...There's atleast 5 roller grills with every taquito, corn dog, hot dog, brats, and every thing else that they make on a roller grill. They have a complete drink wall, with all the frozen delicacies of a Quiktrip, including a whipped cream dispenser to add to the calories and taste. Ofcourse, there's a clean microwave for your warming up needs. Maybe a couple. There's a complete coffee bar that also has soft serve ice cream cones and smoothies and fresh donuts and muffins. Hell, one can gain 5 pounds just by walking into the doors. Tons of other things and this is much more than just a convenience store. Yes, Quiktrip has out done itself with the gorgeous location. Can it not get much better? They also have a wine section. And don't forget gas. Several lanes. We are worthy of the new Quiktrip. It will come of good use. Often. read more

I always stop by Quiktrip before seeing a movie in Independence so I can fill my purse with snacks. This time I decided to check out the new one off of 40 Highway and I'm glad I did! There are drinks galore! Just when you think you don't have any more drinks options, there are more drinks in every corner. They even have a "coffee shop." I didn't look at it too closely, but it looked like only your very basic lattes and mochas. Still neat, nonetheless. They have 18 gas pumps as opposed to the 12 at most Quiktrips and their gas was 0.02 cents cheaper last night than the other Quiktrip in Independence. Love Quiktrip and am glad we have a new and improved one. read more

Very big and open gas pumps, so it was easy to pull our 30ft RV in and out. Also, the staff was very friendly and let us top off our fresh water tanks. Every employee that we saw had a smile on and gave us a nice "hi/hello". Super thankful because most of the state parks we went to overnight had the pumps turned off for winter. read more

Hubby and I were tooling down 40 Highway in Independence this afternoon and Hubs said "want to stop for a hot dog?" That didn't turn out to be as "uggy" as it sounded. This new location has only been open for a few weeks and, come to find out, their building is built large enough to offer a QT Kitchen that has a Hot Dog and Taquito grill station, as well as choices of pre-made deli sandwiches and wraps, salads and fruit in mostly single-serving size containers. This is a way to eat a bit more sensibly that the usual chips, sweet rolls and donuts and fountain drinks. The Kitchen also offers several types of breakfast sandwiches. I built my own grilled Hot Dog and made choices from a wide selection of sauces and toppings which included a small bar area that has chopped onion, peppers, tomato and a couple of other things. The dog was a good quality and tasted about as good as going to Up Dog and Sonic. Hubby got a Country Sausage sandwich and said his 'wasn't too bad either'. And he actually meant that in a nice way. The QT Kitchen space is kept clean and neat with constant supervision from the employees. The store is bright, cheerful and inviting. And best news of all: Two Dogs, two bags of chips and two fountain drinks cost under $7. There are no tables and chairs so we went to our car to eat . But, yup, I would go back for another dog some other time, if the occasion should arise. read more

I love Quik Trip. I don't think I could live in a city without one. They have the best coffee (Vienna Roast!) and most varieties of flavored cappuccinos. I also like their assortment of hot and cold sandwiches, salads and pizzas. They even have breakfast! Adding the specialty kitchens were definitely a nice touch to the franchise. Then when it comes to gas, QT is the only kind I put in my car. Never had a problem with them. I also like that I can use the window cleaner and air up my tires at no additional cost. I spend a lot of time on the road in my work and as a result I've visited most QuikTrip locations in the region. I can say without hesitation that this location is the best in town. Always clean and organized and the cleanest restrooms of any gas station I've visited. Food and drinks are always well stocked and ready to go. I've frequented a lot of Quik Trips. In fact it's my gas station of choice in any city when I can find one. The reason I'm going out of my way to comment on this specific location is because it deserves it! Hands down the best QT I've ever been to. My daughter and I now drive out of our way to get to this one. The amount of fountain selections is massive. The whole layout of the store was very smart and convenient, with coffees on one side and frozen drinks on the other while giving sodas their own corner. I love that they have a grill in the back where you can order fresh sandwiches made on the spot. Cashiers are so nice and friendly. I can't say enough good things! read more
