Quik trips are always safe, and open. I like the coffee and their gas is one of the only a few gas stations that I use.

A hidden gem in Johns Creek…read more Some of the best made-to-order Indian food you can get. I've been here a few times, and love the freshness of the food, the meticulously-crafted recipes, and attention to detail. At a time when a million and a half Indian "street food" restaurants keep cropping up at every street corner, Campus Cafe delivers authentic restaurant-level Indian dishes with high quality ingredients, freshness and great friendly service... all in a fast casual setting. Campus Cafe is tucked away in a small strip mall at the corner of 141 and State Bridge Rd in Johns Creek. It's a clean establishment with room to dine in, but I've always ordered my food to go. So far, I've tried the following: Vegetarian biriyani (5 stars) Chicken kadai (5 stars) Paneer tikka masala (4 stars) Goat curry (5 stars) Chicken biriyani (4 stars)

For this trip, I'm exploring Cheesesteaks in the area since I just moved in. Compared to Weeyums, Philly D, and uncle Phil's I would say this is nowhere near as good as those. It scratches an itch, but the bread is wrong. It was too small and barely held together. It was good, but if you're looking for a spectacular Philly, I wasn't getting it. Might be worth trying the Desi Cheese steak since it's different. Seems like that might be my next try. Just need better bread. Onion rings were also just prepackaged. Nothing to write home about. Service was fast and friendly. The owner at the counter always calls out to his guests saying thanks. I'll be back to try the Indian food next. I think that will be great.

We had absolutely no business ending up at Nando's... and yet here we are…read more The original plan? Matcha. Light. Peaceful. Maybe even a little classy. What actually happened? Piri-piri chicken, garlic bread, and zero self-control. Nando's is already one of our go-to spots, so it didn't take much convincing. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between casual and "we're pretending this is a planned night out." And the food? Consistently elite. My husband went with his usual: the 2 1/4 legs, hot. A bold man with a questionable spice tolerance, but I respect the commitment. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers, medium, because I like to feel something without seeing my life flash before my eyes. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: the garlic bread. I don't know what they put in it, but I would trust it with my financial decisions. It's that good. He also got the fries (which, okay... a little skimpy this time, Nando's, we noticed ), and I switched things up with the corn on the cob, which absolutely held its own. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed even though we didn't know we needed it. We met up with my sister and her kids, who ordered after us, but honestly the best part of the night was just hanging out, talking, and letting the table slowly turn into a graveyard of sauce-covered plates and crumbs. Final verdict: Came for matcha. Left with full stomachs, zero regrets, and a renewed emotional attachment to garlic bread. Would accidentally end up here again 10/10.

Last night it was really cold and after running around we decided to go out for dinner at 9pm. Yes…read more9pm. We chose this restaurant. Great choice because they still had what we wanted. This was my first time. Half of the group had been here before. First of all I like the set up. The decor is top tier. I liked the fact that you order at a counter or code on the phone. No waiting for a server. Everything is paid for up front. You still get the feel of a sit down restaurant. They bring your food to the table. The dinnerware is heavy and colorful. Very festive. I ordered 1/4 Chicken Breast in Manho Lime flavor and Brussels Sprouts. We also had Chicken Thighs, Chicken Wings, Portuguese Rice Fries, Cauliflower, Sweet Potatoes and Garlic Bread on the table as well. The flavors absolutely bloom in your mouth as all of their meat was marinated. There was not one dish that I didn't enjoy. I will most definitely return.
