I then took the board to the store and the manager doesn't wants to swap for another board or give my money back. I only rode it 1 day. He could at least have let me change the board, as the one he sold put me in danger! Update: On the last day of my trip to Whistler I received the refund. If they were only a little more flexible some days before I wouldn't have to write this review.

Found this place while looking for Whistler products…read more If you're looking for anything with Canada or Whistler on it, stop by here! I was on a hunt for a Canada shirt... and at this place, they have a bunch of designs already premade on shirts or hoodies... or you can design it on your own with the selection of designs and shirt/hoodies they have in stock. They have lots of souvenirs, gifts and clothes for everyone. The guy who helped me designs all the logos. He was really nice and helpful and speaks french. In a matter of minutes... he pressed my hoodie, I put it on, aprroved it and I was sold. I love my hoodie! Costed me $34. Make an effort to stop by here to pick up your souvenirs, this place rocks! Merci 49th for my awesome hoodie!

I love The North Face products. I own a sleeping bag made by them…read more I was looking for muscle shirts and t-shirts in XXL - and to continue the trend - The North Face carries absolutely none of their t-shirts and muscle shirts in size XXL. I asked if it was illegal to carry XXL muscle and t-shirts in size XXL in Whistler (as almost every shop I went into had none). They shrugged and said they did not know why. I asked them to pass on to management that they need to carry XXL sizes. Who knows if they actually will. I did find one North Face polo in a XXL in blue - which I bought. That saved them from a 2 star rating!

I've been shopping at Lululemon for years--basically since they first began opening retail…read morestores--and I have to say, the Whistler Village location consistently delivers the best service. The team here really sets the gold standard and should train the Lululemon stores in the United States! Every employee strikes the perfect balance between being friendly, helpful, and professional without ever crossing into being pushy or overbearing. While most Lululemon locations have friendly staff, sometimes it can feel overwhelming to be constantly approached while shopping. At this store, the employees do a fantastic job of explaining products, highlighting features, and checking in periodically, all while giving you the perfect amount of space to browse on your own. Shopping here is always a wonderful experience, and I can't recommend this location enough!

Lululemon athletica is located in whistler village right outside of the Hilton hotel. Their store…read morefront is very large and has two entrances. They have a large men's and women's section (half and half) with the cashier in the middle of the store. I came here on Boxing Day. They had racks and racks of men's and women's clothing. They even had some accessory items on sale as well. For women they had lots of leggings, a couple skirts and shorts, tank top shirts, and jackets. It was a combination of items, but I ended up getting mostly leggings. The prices ranged from $35 and up. The leggings were around $65 each. Pretty much around 50% off or so for most items. I also got a gym bag that was super cute and a jacket. I really liked that they had whistler apparel and hats. The prices were rather high. $58 for women's shirts and $84 for men's shirts with the whistler design. Wish that the price was cheaper because I would've loved to have purchased that since it is great quality. The staff were very nice even though the store was pretty crazy and the line to pay went by quickly.

The temperature that day outside was in the upper 80's (F.) and apparently this store has no air conditioning - it was absolutely stifling inside. I could not get out the door fast enough! Staff was very helpful.

They typically have a lot of outdoor stuff like gloves, hats and scarves, etc. There were 3 women working there and they were all standing around the register chatting with each other. There were about 3-5 customers that came and went while I was there, and they didnt move or offer to help anyone. So disappointing overall.

I love Roots!!!…read more Roots is a super cute and trendy store. They have men's, women's, and children's apparel. They are definitely known for their hoodies because they have one for just about everyone. When I went in they had an up to 50% off sale and I was able to purchase a couple hoodies for really cheap. I really like their children's apparel. They have some really cute shirts that have Canada on it. Many of their items has the Canadian maple leaf or Canada written somewhere on it. It makes for a great gift to give to someone that doesn't live in Canada or even for yourself. Roots has a signature character or animal that they have on all of their apparel...the beaver. It is really cute and is iconic for roots. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the clothing that you get. It is very soft and thick. This is definitely one of my favorite stores in Canada and I will be back again when I visit.

They also rent cross country skis. The service here is good. I bought a pair of Arc'teryx mittens here once after a wrist brace failure meant buying a pair of mitts I had, but had left at back in the flatlands. The wrist strap failed after a few days. I went back and asked if I could get a new strap. The guy at the store called about the warranty, but Arc'teryx does not ship the strap separately. He fused the strap for me himself in the store, and it was ready when I returned at the end of the day. Another time I came in asking about pit zips in jackets and the man I spoke with was very honest about the breathability of the jacket. Surprises in the breathability of rainwear rarely lead to a pleasant day in the rain, so I really appreciated that. I just got a pair of trail runners here at their fall shoe sale. They were a pretty good deal and the lady warned me they were "final sale" more than once. The seem want you to be happy with your purchase here, which is really nice. I recommend this store. If they don't have what you are looking for the same person also owns the large Arc'teryx store nearby.
