This is probably the SMALLEST Aritzia store in the company... I really do not think I've been to a smaller Aritzia... and trust me, I've been to a lot of Aritzia stores :) So obviously due to their lack of space, their selection is not THAT big. Of course they carry the core items such as blazers, winter coats, jeggings, etc but if you're coming here to really indulge and go on a crazy Aritzia spree, it's probably not the best place. But because it is a smaller store, it also offers the benefits of finding certain sizes not available in other locations or specific items that were sold out at other stores still available here. They definitely cater to the Whistler population and are stocked on winter jackets, Sorel and Ugg boots. Whether you are a tourist, traveler visiting Whistler Village or native Canadian, Aritzia is a MUST for any women who love shopping, fashionable yet casual and comfortable clothing. Although expensive, their quality is generally decent and nothing beats something that LOOKS good, FEELS good and is stylish :)

From the Spritz brand aromatic sprays that tone and refresh, to Harlow skin care I indulged in sample nirvana. Then I spotted THE boot brand SHOTO! Hand made in Italy, I am now smitten and on the prowl! Oh yes they had a the bag brand Market Canvas, I can see one of these on my shoulder sooner than later. The shop staff was kind and informative, and I shared one of my favorite Italian leather manufactures with them. I left the shop with a wealth of new product information. My philosophy is to shop local is possible, especially when traveling and go look and handle items, and learn about new things that may enrich your life in some little way. I finally stopped by, and although they do sell surprisingly interesting giftware, they also sell women's clothes. The clothing is pretty much in the neutral colours around which you build your wardrobe. Everything I saw was casual clothing (denim, tops, sweaters), and the merchandise ranged from classic to stylish. I would say the items are definitely not cheap, but they are different than the other stores in Whistler. There appeared to be limited quantities of each item too, so if it's important to you to not see other women around town in the same top, this is a good choice. Overall, I think the store is a 4.5. I rounded up because it's a unique store in Whistler. It's worth a look, if you are in the area.

This time I came in I bought a cute sweater in a dark bubble gum pink color. It was waffle style. Had a longer front and back, with the sides a little higher. I also bought a TNA T-shirt. Very simple with just their TNA logo embroidered on it. Their space is decent sized, but there aren't too many options. There are a few changing rooms in the back and they do carry a few different brands other than their own. You can sign up for their email list as well when you check out in order to accumulate points on your purchases. They are definitely known for their hoodies because they have one for just about everyone. When I went in they had an up to 50% off sale and I was able to purchase a couple hoodies for really cheap. I really like their children's apparel. They have some really cute shirts that have Canada on it. Many of their items has the Canadian maple leaf or Canada written somewhere on it. It makes for a great gift to give to someone that doesn't live in Canada or even for yourself. Roots has a signature character or animal that they have on all of their apparel...the beaver. It is really cute and is iconic for roots. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the clothing that you get. It is very soft and thick. I used to think that's just how ski boots are - they hurt like hell. How wrong I was! The boots I got from CanSki are like skiing on clouds. They molded them a bit to my feet and they have been like a dream to ski in. Even better, i came in this year (a year after I bought them) and asked for a slight adjustment on one toe and they did it for free. The clothing is all expensive, but it's market rate for great quality gear. If you're in Whistler and need new equipment, this is the place to go.
