Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. We initially received an estimate from him that seemed reasonable. When we hired him he arrived late and very grumpy and acted annoyed that he was there. He quickly put the tint on then gave us an invoice that was 4x higher than the initial estimate. He gave us all sorts of silly reasons why it was higher that were not explained up front. He made a comment that he needed money and threatened to rip the tint off the windows. He became hostile and we were concerned he would cause damage to our home so we quickly paid him to get out of the home. I am not sure what would have happened if I did not have my husband home. Local circular for area businesses featured Quick Tint, who advertised windshield replacement services with offer for up to 10 Harkins movie tickets. When I spoke with Jerry on the phone to make an appointment for having my windshield replaced, I confirmed the advertised 'free gift' of the movie tickets. I was informed that since my 2007 Toyota was 'old' and the glass less expensive, I only qualified for 5 movie tickets. I verbally agreed to this and made the appointment for Friday, January 3, 2014. At the appointed time, Oscar and another fellow employee arrived and replaced my windshield as agreed. When I asked about the tickets, Oscar told me they would be sent to me later. I signed faintly photocopied insurance form to bill USAA for the replacement and they left. That same day, I left an email thanking him for his service and mentioned what Oscar told me, that I should be seeing the tickets soon. In the weeks since then, I have neither received the tickets nor had any response to multiple phone calls, voicemails, emails. The business address listed goes to a small office that supports local small business owners with a physical address. The woman there gave me some story that he was in a car accident and couldn't explain why he wouldn't respond to my attempts to rectify the situation. In all my communication, I was cordial and polite but I'm frankly disappointed in myself and this company -- the company for their shoddy practices and myself for not looking them up to realize it before agreeing to give them my business. I even reached out to the BBB and the company would not acknowledge their attempts to contact as well. Sounds like they were once a better company -- not sure what happened, which is disappointing. May be time for rewrite on company mission statement! read more
