I scheduled to drop my car off on a Friday "any time after dinner" and was told they were open until 9pm. I was told this actually works better for them. Then I get a dispatch call midafternoon they're at my house and need to pick the car up. A "miscommunication on their end". I wasn't out shopping. I was out running last minute errands for a cross country move. They said they would go to other pickups and come back, I came back early to get them my car. They did NOT wait 2 hours for me- I watched the guy pull up the second time. They actually said he would be there in about 2 hours, it was 4. I didn't need to rush home. Also, they did not pay for my Uber to dinner (but they did pay for my Uber to Walmart upon me picking up my car though after delivering it to the wrong location aka asked for my address and location but forgot to pass it on to the delivery guy and picked a random Walmart in a big city that was 35 minutes from me, so yes that Uber they paid for). Also, I am not a "young person" like your daughter. Let's stop assuming people's ages and even then basing how we feel about them off that. Plain and simple, the communication was poor, nobody on your team talks to each other which is why things are falling through the cracks, and I let you guys know that as a way to improve. Both delivery drivers were great, but telling someone to drop off their car at the downtown office after dinner and then showing up at noon "because of a miscommunication" and then going to the wrong delivery address "because we forgot to pass along the updated information" doesn't work for a business. Own it and move on! *** He responded again and is now saying my friends planned a surprise dinner for me (not true, I was going to dinner with one friend) and I blew them off. I am attaching photos of the emails and text communication with them. It shows the email they sent me when the driver thought my car was already at the office so I had to reroute and make myself available for them, which they thanked me for.... not I blew them off for a surprise dinner lol. After looking through it and other peoples experiences with customs, I decided it was best to hire a professional to avoid penalties and delays. Only one issue- my car was landing in 3 days. I reached out to referrals from friends and called several other brokers who had NO interest in helping me because it was such short notice (you can receive fines and delays if not done timely and correctly.) Until I called Emad- he had no hesitation and assured me with 100% confidence there would be NO issues. I was a little skeptical, it sounded too good to be true, especially after my previous conversations with experienced vehicle custom brokers. But I didn't have much of a choice and decided to proceed. Emad was on it, quick. He immediately requested the necessary docs and followed up with the next steps right after. Through each stage he kept me informed, and told me what to expect next. Several times he was messaging me and/or updating me with new documents well past 6PM. I did not expect this attentiveness and deliberate sense of urgency from anybody, let alone someone who I had no prior relationship with. I explained my situation with him, being a first time import for myself, and he was extremely patient with me and walked me through the entire process.
