I had Hunter come by and spoke to him and I looked up the reviews and I felt comfortable paying a $23,000 deposit. The permits for the HOA and the Orange County came in very fast and they literally scheduled us within two weeks. I was extremely pleased with the crew. They showed up every morning at 6:30 in the morning and they left at 7:30 at night and it took about two weeks. I had a major concern with the open-ended nature of the contract regarding extras, but we were able to work it out in a very nice fashion with compromising respect. After they were finished the Orange County roofing inspector came and borrowed my ladder to go up on the roof and said it's the best roof he's ever seen. I have been through several heavy downpour and so far no leaks so I figure it's good for many years. A couple of things needed to be finished up and they came back and finished everything up with a very professional fashion. I was so pleased. I fed them every day. I would highly recommend this company. Hunter and Jim answered all my questions in a very timely fashion both before during and after which is a big deal to me. It's not always just money while that is a big concern, but also customer service.

I called and at first I asked for storm shutters, however, the man I spoke with thought a high impact window would serve my needs better. Measurements were taken, the permits obtained and the window ordered with an estimate of 2 months, or possibly more, to get the project done. I am so happy to report that exactly 2 months later Jeff and Jay showed up and it was a real pleasure working with them. The installation took less than a day and because I named my new quiet/safe room "Heaven," you can guess I am very delighted with the outcome. They have been around a long time and definitely the best in the area! A real delight working with all to achieve exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended! Just a couple weeks after…read morehe finished the work we noticed that the fence was already falling apart and that he had not even fastened the brackets holding the fence together with screws or nails. Many of the top cross pieces on the arbor sections have fallen off. Most of the fence sections have pulled away from the posts and will need to be replaced. We spent $20K on this fence. When I contacted Jacob a couple weeks after he finished the job he said he had moved to Florida and that I should call another fence company about his shoddy work. I would not recommend his company. He did a terrible job and then left town.

There were a few little projects that we could DIY and then there were these cabinets. GAH! The color! The doors! They were so dated and didn't match the rest of our home at all. Well it turns out that replacing those little brown-devil doors was a bit of a challenge! I called several businesses who weren't interested in such a small job and then called several handymen who didn't know how to fabricate something from scratch. That is when I was fortunate enough to run across Walton Home Improvements on Yelp! In the very few photos posted, I saw something similar to what I was hoping for! Ron did an amazing job and was incredibly professional. He clearly knows his craft. After listening to my ideas and adding his own creative suggestions, he went to work! He was quick and efficient and quite reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone and even gave his name to our realtor, who frequently has clients needing tricky repairs. Excellent service. He is now working on exterior home painting on brick ('updating' a paint job my mom and I did 14 uears ago - major job!!)
